the numbers are just garbage. everywhere. garbage in, garbage out. You can't make any conclusions, even likely most of covid cases go undetected. you can likely multiply the official numbers of infected by 10x or 20x, then you get 2-4 billion of cases worldwide. then you take the official number of death: 4 million, from which likely many were with preconditions or EOL (end of life anyway), so take half or one quarter of that to actually get the number of real cases. Then you have it, the mortality which results to be around 0.025 - 0.1%, so exactly like a normal flu.
Ah and if the government plans to really do something for public health then please first close the fast food restaurants and forbid selling alcohol and tobacco.
Cruise ships are actually doing more damage to environment than the tourists sailing on them ever could. Re: heavy oil engines, no filters / catalysts, anchors on sea bed and so on. The whole thing is a hypocrisy... love it or hate it but do not argue with environment when it comes to cruise ships!
I'm also sure the vaccines they have "sent" to Bahamas was something nobody wanted. They just dumped it here because substandard and the government celebrates the success....
