Given the fiscal hole of hell we’ll find ourselves in by the next election the FNM should have a cakewalk to power, but Michael Pintard’s petty arrogance has again muddied the waters.
And jettisoning a man like Dr Minnis is not a good look for anyone who ‘humbly’ seeks another’s vote!

The former PM was not a perfect leader, but who amongst us dares to even think that Davis&Co could have ably steered this country successfully through the triple disasters of the legacy of Christie&Davis’ corrupt governance, Hurricane Dorian and a global pandemic?

Davis&Co have literally been branded criminals by the US gov’t, and now their tariffs loom before us.
In 2021 our debt had increased to $10B, one third way to the fourth year hence and it’s over $13B, and yet the only disaster visited upon us was self inflicted.

Dr Minnis should be honoured for his service to this country and it’s citizens.

So this "Climate Change and Carbon Market Initiatives Act" passed in 2022,( 3 years ago..)
.is the fruition of all the $$$ Davis&Co's has purloined from the Bahamas' coffers, all the hot air he's been blowing across the globe?
We should be demanding a refund!

Davis expects home owners and businesses to pay up to $300 for the privilege of being on a "registry" of climate savers which will supposedly obligate (at least those not politically connected) to prepare detailed annual reports etc, or be fined $10,000+??
And the rewards/benefits are...?

This is how the New Day guberment does, same as the Old Day-for themselves..

So if none of these folks named here are doing their jobs…?

“The facility… is expected to be completed by Dec 2024.”
They didn’t even bother to print up an updated lie.

So at a moment in history while the Bahamas awaits the discovery from the plea deal arranged between the US Attorney and the four incarcerated and indicted former Bahamian officials for drug smuggling, money laundering etc etc., Davis&Co’s Mitchell proposes a holiday to laud the first Bahamian born PM who set himself up as the Kingpin of the Caribbean drug trade?

Who was so successful and made so much money that he obviously still stirs the pride and the ‘entrepreneurial’ spirit of Bahamians today!
The Bahamas, where our only bad optic is our murder rate!

rosiepi says...

Is there any entity in the Bahamas or abroad for which the government of Davis&Co does not owe money?

And this version of Bahamian justice is why cruisers despite what that Cooper guy keeps telling us of their outsized spending habits, spend their Bahama-time onboard.
And the US keeps issuing failing reports to the Bahamas on issues of corruption, crime prevention etc etc.

rosiepi says...

Well one would think there’d be strict safety regulations as to the training of LNG personnel, equipment and maintenance, but since this is the Bahamas where such things are forgotten/ignored once the fanfare’s over…

Let’s just pray the next time some pair of fools decides to play chicken on Mackey St, one of them thinks flammable before they land in those of the everlasting variety!!

On PM: No more talk on Moorings issue

So which institution(s) of government does Davis&Co intend to stop funding over and above those programs that remain grossly unfunded and underfunded??
