The hypocrisy resides in so many, but our Ministry of Health's refusal to include in it's tally the number of positive cases obtained from the very tests they distributed to the employers and clinics in the Bahamas has made a mockery of the position they occupy as guardians of the health and welfare of Bahamian citizens.
How can anyone hope to obtain realistic data, conduct contact tracing and prevent the spread of this virus by such mismanagement and the withholding of vital information from it's citizens?

Spreading disinformation resulting in fatal and/or dire consequences to one's fellow citizens is an unconscionable offense. Cease now before you kill somebody.

The vaccination is free folks!
Why would someone think that any person(s) invested in a business, a community and the health therein would actually compensate stupidity and immorality??

These issues have been reported now for over a year, I recall last spring Cardio MDs in the Toronto area estimated that over 6 weeks they had lost 3 dozen patients because their procedures were cancelled and/or they could not get the procedures needed.
So I'll make a wild guessestimate that the Bahamas is in far worse shape.

You should have read the article which points out that the numbers thus far of vaccinated folks dying from Covid is less than 0.003%.
And those numskulls talking about the dangers from these vaccines, or the chemicals should start reading the ingredients/preservatives in their favorite fast food supper!
And mutations, variants occur every time some unvaxx'd person gets Covid thats why scientists wanted as many vaxx'd as possible not the other way around.
Good grief!

These passengers did land in the Bahamas and did interact with 'locals'. In Nassau, Coco Cay and Freeport.

Utterly pathetic. There is no operational environmental protection in the Bahamas.

Ok, so the 'foreign pilots' were supposed to fly out on Monday...so why didn't they file a police report on Monday upon discovering their plane was missing?
Or after the crash the same day??
And they let these two go?

It is a preventable complication and injury usually occurs when nursing staff are not attentive and/or lack the training their tiny patients in NICU require to survive.

These foolish comparisons to '1942' or the heinous practice of isolating and dehumanizing the Jewish people by the Nazis is out of line, though it seems clear who is lacking critical thinking skills here.

Don't all employees suffer is their place of business is closed due to an outbreak?
What about the tourists being warned not to travel to the Bahamas because people are not following basic health guidelines, and the gov't is typically slow and inept especially in times of crisis?
Why can't folks understand that this is not the scenerio for prosperity?
