Believe it or not, it works. Called them about three weeks ago about a neighbourhood street-light that was out on a Wednesday or Thursday and left a message. An actual LIVE person called me back on the Friday for directions. Tuesday I had to drive by that light-pole and the light was on, fixed, repaired! Couldn't believe it! Apparently this is a section of BEC that works quickly. WOW!
Maybe they should try contacting the company that makes the medicine. The company might be willing to work with the family by providing the medicine while the family and doctors study how it affects him. This may assist them in developing new medicines and also help Tarique's case or at least make him more comfortable.
But if they're jailed doesn't that mean they will remain in the Bahamas, where they want to be anyway? More $$$$$ going towards providing food, shelter & medical care for illegal non-Bahamians. Also, please remove the detention centre from New Providence. Once again, why are they bringing these immigrants to the island that has the largest population? And in a heavily populated area at that! Please relocate this to one of our other islands/cays; this is a disaster waiting to happen.
With the time change it is still daylight outside at 6pm when she went missing. So many unsecured properties on this island. So many children unaware. Maybe the cesspit was uncovered or surrounded by overgrown bushes and she fell in. It is private property and sad to say, but probably from a legal standpoint, if the church says they will bury the child for free that would be admitting guilt--not something a lawyer wants to hear. Sad accident for all involved. Sorry for the loss of this young child.
What is the point of renaming a place? Bahamians will still call it the name they remember it by: Nassau Shop/John Bull, Harrold Road/TWD Highway etc. Just another publicity stunt to keep themselves in the news, and have us believe they're actually doing something.
and the man who's always quoting "I am the Prime Minister" doesn't fire anyone. Unlike me, he believes in 2nd, 3rd and maybe more, chances. While we suffer...
Sounds like an interesting event, will check it out. Seems like something the Christian Council would complain about; too 'new age' and different for their crowd.
