Wonderful story! Like how he developed an interest into a bu$ine$$ and then extended his vision to include food vendors in the settlement. Very enterprising! Congratulations to all taking part.

MP Griffith, do you know any drug addicts of alcoholics? First step in recovery is realising you are an addict/alcoholic and want help. YOU are responsible for yourself, not the dope dealer, liquor store or bar-room! So why do you think it is different for a compulsive gambler? Why are you making the web-shop responsible for the gambler's actions? You're saying this compulsive gambler can run around doing what they want like a spoiled bratty child, who doesn't have to face the consequences of his actions. Wrong, wrong, wrong! Don't sound like you thought this out thoroughly at all!

Idiot.

I don't care if you like or dislike gambling, web shops or whatever. The real issue is that the PLP government decided to toss out the results of a decision voters made. To bad if more didn't vote or they didn't like the result of the vote. Bad decision from the leader on down. Why didn't they just change whatever they had to in the House? Now their stupid decision to go ahead and do what they want, because it suits their purpose, could have disastrous results for future elections --if people will even vote, that is. (Pirates, everyone of 'em!)

Fer real? These are the same politicians sitting up in various churches and never turning down a chance to ' talk fool' from a pulpit, especially before election time, and now he's warning church leaders to stay out of politics?! I wish politicians would stay out of the church!

I believe a big reason they (the Government) can't/won't may a decision is because of the ol' Bahamian family names listed: Symonette, Kelly, Bethell, Pritchard, Hazelwood. Maybe if the surnames were Wilson, Finlayson, Davis, Maynard etc. Government's response would have been different; they only seem to act on anything when 'their crowd' is involved.

That detention centre needs to be relocated now. That is now a residential area although it was mostly 'bush' when they started out. Put the detention area on another island; makes no sense bringing them here. What kinda sense is that? Illegal aliens are found at sea then brought to the island that has the largest population; what if they are ill? The detention centre should be in our southern islands where they are passing by as they head Nassau-way. Wake up people! Could someone have a modern plan now, it's 2014 now?!

Also, be aware of a person who gives away prized possessions saying he won't be needing them anymore. The same person who wouldn't let you borrow a CD is now giving you the entire collection?! That's a sign right there.

Bad move. These Bahamian politicians will sell us out to whoever has the most money. China is jack-booting themselves across the globe. PM Christie is way over his head with the Chinese, and all of this is going on in secret. We could wake up tomorrow and discover Mandarin is now the official language not English. Don't trust any of them.
