Was about to turn onto Bar 20 Corner from Mackey Street when I saw the blue police van and yellow POLICE tape. Driving pass saw lots of bystanders and other police vehicles. Traffic was diverted through Baltic Avenue and then onto Mackey Street. Wondered what had happened.

Saw another incident with Doris Johnson students at that same area earlier this school year. After-school traffic was disrupted by male and female DJ students flinging palm-sized rocks at each other across four lanes of traffic. No concern for themselves or the public; why are these children so wild and out of control? Saw the mass of students there yesterday again as we headed home, but they were mostly quiet. Saw the flashing lights, police car, ambulance and figured someone had been hurt. Sad to hear the young man later died.

Dear Media People: MP Miller is another one who loves the sound of his own voice and seeing his face in the papers and on the TV screen. PLEASE stop chasing after him and putting his rants all over the place. Thank-you.

While they're at it, have a look at the area near RM Bailey Park on the EW Highway side; all these huge church/doomsday message signs trying to see who can be the biggest one. Also, please check the distance some of these signs are placed. Cash 'N Go on Prince Charles as a recently installed sign almost in the road; you can't tell me that's in the correct place.
