With a National Lottery( operated the correct way and without corruption) Our education system could afford to attract the most qualified educators to provide a quality education for our children and our Nation's future. Every family Island could have had state of the art Airport and Health facilities and functioning medical equipment. But Instead it was all sold out for 30 pieces of silver by political Judas Priests to a couple individuals who were more intelligent and with a vision to disadvantage the the Bahamas nation.

A national lottery ( ran the proper way and without corruption) would have reduced the dependency on the need for foreign financial assistance and consequential demands on the Bahamian citizens.
While the Christie Government chose to go against the wishes of the Bahamian citizens and legalize the Web shop Boys illegal gaming business for no doubt Many Many reasons and benefits instead of creating a National Lottery for the benefit of all Bahamian Citizens. Elected political Governments since then have refused to correct the misjustice and thus increase the foreign financial aide dependency and truly preventing the Bahamas from becoming an Independent progressive nation.

If Haitian Nationals have been coming to Nassau for interviews and reviews for the granting of USA Visa's before, and is usual and typical, then, does the announcement mean that this service has been suspended and will commence back on November 1, 2025? by all reports this announcement was made by the US Embassy in Nassau.
Were these persons visiting the Bahamas on visitor's VISA or receiving Bahamian Citizenship and then applying for the US Visa?
Also, since these persons will be visiting the Bahamas for the sole purpose of conducting business with the US Embassy, will the US Embassy will be responsible for tracking these persons leaving the Bahamas and either entering the USA or returning back to Haiti.
If the Bahamian Visa is issued, will it be a onetime specific visa, meaning good for one visit only or will the person be allowed to come into the Bahamas for the application, Interview and go back to Haiti until the final decision is made and communicated.
Seem to me a lot of questions were not asked of that information is not forthcoming regarding this report.

What we are seeing today, and most recently investors are looking ahead to the future of their investments for their foreign guest and area residents than the Bahamas Governments are look for the Citizens of the Bahamas and their quality of exitance and living. Will there come a day when " Our Paradise Island" will become another " Gated Private Space" no longer allowing Bahamian Citizens access, like every recent major foreign residential investment development be it in New Providence or a Family Island???
We cannot fault them looking at the recent events of what would appear to be a concerted plan for our country to be taken over by foreigners with no particular future in mind??

If you operate under the Law.
With todays Blatant corruption. In the Bahamas who care if the us$100.00 bill or other assets are there.
Do you think that all this was considered when all them Bahamian Citizenships were delivered by the then minister of our immigration dept in person at a Haitian Funeral Church Service????

Typical to conclude that Respect is awarded ( and especially from one with a history of
disrespect for others and mostly females, go to the history books of The Bahamas parliament) rather than EARNED by respecting others.
what a way to move forward?????
This is the kind of headlines that keep our young people leaving school with a "D" average and straight to the unemployment lines.

When Sh-t like this is considered newsworthy instead of meaningful news like" What is the current murder count of our mostly young people, and what is really effecting the lives and well being of our citizens there is a major news editing ( in this case lack of editing) problems.
Most of the individuals in this crap are " failed has beens" who have done the Bahamas more harm that good and any advice of opinions or anything printed should be bawled up and used in the outside toilet.

Keep writing of millions of dollars to past, current and future politicians delinquent and non-performing loans and then selling to corrupt Investors for pennies on the dollar, paying the Web shop Boys very little to no interest on huge daily deposits and balances that other banks cannot accept, even with a C average you should make a profit. Especially if the books maybe tweaked.
