Maybe, Just Maybe the 2300 jobs added came about after legalizing shanty town illegal immigrants and adding their employment to the Labour Force Survey. The survey need to state the Industries that these jobs are in, and how many were filled with Work permits and how may are True Bahamians. Sound like the laying of the foundation for and further increase in V.A.T and or Personal Income Taxes in preparation for membership into the WTO.

When this Big Joke started and the Webshop Tax Laws were passed, I remember reading that King Sebas publically announced that he was allocating $5 million to reverse the governments webshop tax laws. who got the $5 Million. Yes!! Hoo-Hah a sure win.

Watching the Netflix documentary, a true Bahamian can only feel embarrassment and shame that such a global scam could be carried out right under our corrupt and incompetent government's watch. As the elected body to protect ALL Bahamians and visitors to our Beautiful Country OUR government and the then ministry of Tourism failed miserably.
The documentary show that after being charged with this crime and awaiting trial in the courts, the principles were filmed committing other fraudulent scams wearing clothing displaying " our bahamas flag ". ( were they trying to tell the WORLD the news of corruption ????)

It becoming that the Government has all the RIGHTS and the citizens have none, Zippo.
Its the same procedure as the Millions of dollars being held in " dormant accounts" that the Government is now claiming, without proof of publically notifying the account holders or surviving relatives, if the account holder is deceased of these funds. The banks held theses funds with a fiduciary responsibility, and it is the responsibility of the Government to ensure that they be carry that out to the End meaning that the funds are returned to the rightful owner (s).
The same apply to the mail. In the absence of not returning the undeliverable mail back to the sender, pubic notification must be given to the intended receiver of the mail to claim it before it is destroyed. Also does non valuable, mean that every piece mail is open and if there is not a cheque or cash in the letter it is destroyed. What is the purpose of having to purchase a stamp from the government (tax) to mail a letter if the Addressee may never be received.

The FNM Ingraham ( papa doc) robbed the Real Bahamians of their National Insurance Small Pension Benefits in 2010 and NOW the FNM Minnis ( dark hitler) will take the Savings of the Real Bahamians. These funds belong to the Bank clients or they are deceased, their families. It is the Bank responsibility to search the whereabouts of the clients or their immediate family and disburse the funds to them. To open an account with any bank in the Bahamas, one must disclose how many times they have a bowel movement each day, they can obtain a beneficiary for the account. If the proceeds of any Bank account contain Funds from the commission of a crime then those funds become the property of the state only. This is economic desperation.

We Bahamians People allow these foreigners to come into our Bahamas land illegally and become legal through corrupt greedy civil service employees, by selling Bahamian birth rights with no conscience. Why in our lords great name would the Speaker of the HOA allow such nonsense to take place in the Peoples house of Parliament . That body and forum is for the Peoples business and not individual publication for cause. Land disputed are for the courts ( although they make questionable rulings, thanks for the Privy Council in mother England to overrule ).
