General Orders has a "gag order" on civil servants when it comes to issues related to public service discrimination initiated by the Government. All part of the dictatorship culture that exists in this country.

Hopefully the new MOE Director will solve this impasse.

Bahamian culture died in the 1970s with the rise of disco, reggae, rap & access to US television and videos.

The few Bahamians who try to keep the local culture alive are fighting a losing battle, even with the Govt.

When will our Govt divest itself of this albatross?

Let Bahamasair fly internationally and let private charters take care of smaller domestic routes and contract them just like the mailboats. Let Southern, Western, Pineapple etc expand or let new carriers in the local market.
