If that is the case, it will only get worst as the inflation rate and cost of living for the lower and middle class Bahamians continue to rise as compared to wage increases. Firstly, most 242 MPs only represent 5000 voters, compared to the average US, British or Canadian MP. Secondly, 242 MPs are only seen as access to personal privileges or perks based on PM appointments, whereas in the real Westminster system the MP is responsible for providing better legislation and not just manipulating the other two branches of Government. In 242, the other two branches are for the most part emasculated by politicians
