Will USA fed Govt pressure 242 to introduce pro vax measures (to enter USA) like Europe, that they cannot even enforce in many of their own States????? ........ Slippery slope for 242 to comply just for tourism sake. We're too dependent on USA to object.
Bowe already admitted that he is wealthy and that he would prefer to pay more taxes (if the tax regime was different).
So who is the present VAT10% hurting more? It's the lower/middle class ppl. Not Bowe's circle of friends, family and lovers.
The PLP started off with 7.5% then FNM increase it to 12% and now it's at 10% under the PLP when the majority of Bahamians are in a worst state than in 2015. So, the PLP isn't really lifting an economic burden off the poor. Changing the tax structure while getting rid of VAT as the primary Govt revenue earner will help the poor
If the lifespan of the usefulness of a vaccine is 6 months ........... how can any of these vaccines be any good anymore??? They have been sitting here in country for more than 6 months.
Or is it that the shelf life of the vaccine is not counted, like other commodities (like milk & eggs)
Can the newly crowned Fellow advise us on these matters?????????
The Bahamas may be the last ex-colony to become a republic ........... it requires a super-majority Parliament vote PLUS a 50%+1 national referendum to change the required Constitutional articles ............. Fweddy will be long dead and the toddlers today will be pensioners before that may happen.
Several commentators already said it, that the PLP soured the whole idea of referendums in The Bahamas ........... The Brave & Fweddy generation will have to live with their stupidity.
