The poor will always be poor because most look for handouts. But Brave did say that the RISE cards will be back to help the poorest of the poor. More poor ppl need to get off social services and take control of their lives
Climate change, like Covid is REAL. But the real Q is who will be the victims of both? The poorer countries & the SIDS will suffer the most, while the Big5 (US, China, Russia, EU, India and UK) will filibuster and look for loopholes to continue with the business as usual. Brave can bray, but he has very little influence, just like the majority of other nations on Earth.
All of our Govts continue to kick the tax can down the road. The real answer is income, capital gains & corporate tax. But the 242 debt crisis will force that on us by the IMF. Sooner rather than later.
Poverty is relative to what lifestyle that ppl wish to live based on their income. If you're making minimum wage, then you can't make too many babies. Or else find a few minimum wage jobs. The State cannot continue to bail out ppl who continue to make poor life choices
VAT10 across the board will bring in more Govt revenue. Will close the holes that exist with the exemptions and entice ppl to spend more than they did with VAT12
The COP is in a state of Catch-22. He is responsible for disciplining (Complaints & Corruption) and defending his troops against the social media frenzy. The time has come to separate the two for Joe Public's sake.

Agree to a point. But Govt must make an effort to collect ALL of its taxes that already exist. That's a bigger problem
