Most of these BPL workers have basic HS education with some OTJ training ........ but get paid as if they are top skilled civil servants with Masters degrees.

Hard to figure out this salary discrepancy .........

Let the Bahamian People know what these so-called BPL Executives & senior managers get paid & perks .......... at our expense and inconvenience when a surge burns up our equipment/appliances with no refund etc ............ Who is accountable to who??????? ........... Bannister etc just cover for their crap.

BPL is almost $1 billion in public debt to the Government/people ...... so who will have the money to continue to bail out this garbage corporation? ...... This is still the old BEC that was "dressed up" by the crooked Christie regime under Gravy Davis during the last PLP regime..

This Government Ministry's standards of operations and PSC hiring practices seem so out of character with other Ministries ....... The PM should be concerned about this article ........ But is he?

Who controls the food import business(es)????? ......... The same ones who control the black politicians who only talk hot air to get (re)-elected (for more gravy) ........ If any of the Minnis Cabinet has an ounce of guts, they would tell the importers that we are not going to continue this way and begin to change the way Bahamians grow, eat and promote local foods.

Look at how the fast food industry has exploded ........ costco, Rupert Roberts, Solomon's, Pritchards & the others have a free for all ....... Bahamian food consumers are almost powerless OR unwilling to change the present imported foods system .......... Except Bahamians get smart and start to eat what they grow (like the Coptics), we will continue to rely on imported third-rate quality food.
