But the costing of Government projects are definitely suspect
Good question ............. at least the FNM government is doing a big development project in a PLP constituency (compared to the PLP bad ways) ............ That in itself is commendable. Look into the fine print of what is now included ........ maybe it is the same thing like the RBDF Sandy Bottom costs.
And this is the same KPT who preferred to bail out Bank of The Bahamas (over $200 million) rather than empower the bank to service the other islands as a national banking institution ......... The time is NOW for a BOB presence in every major Bahamian island.
But the FI people will remember these elitist urban rulers who take our taxes and use them for their own selfish political benefit to assist the financial schemes of their PEPs via BOB.
I agree with you ....... the concessions in most cases outweigh the wages/taxes/VAT that most of these FDI entities pay ........ they import most of their top execs and critical supplies ........ very little of their profits stay here.

Can KPT name one so-called real Bahamian "Ponzi" scheme that exists in our country??? ........ We swing, swindle and scheme each other out of "tings" every single day .......... any answer for that??????
Why would our Government even encourage cruise tourism anymore????? ........... There's no comparative profit (money) in it ........ there's too much pollution in it ............ and there's too much Covid risk in it.
