If BOB in Inagua is unprofitable, then we know that serious teefing is going on there. That bank is sitting in the midst of a goldmine, with citizens who make tons of Morton money, with very little to do with it.
It was not politically correct in 2005 ........... Now the IDB will squeeze the Bahamian Govt to swallow the bitter pill because the country is in a financial tailspin with "invisible debt".
Visionless and selfish politicians have ruined this country since Cabinets began in 1964.
The Government masquerades with a whole Ministry of Grand Bahama ........... why??????
But 90% of the country's physical space has no Ministry of Family Islands Affairs ....... just waiting for the crumbs that are left over from Nassau.
The Central Government should be called the Government of New Providence for how badly the Out Islands are been treated by those sitting in Parliament.
That says it all .............. There is NO national Government in practice (just on paper).
The BAAA is held hostage by the fancy track/swim clubs who charge (big) fees to train athletes in Nassau & GB. The 5-10 private schools that provide 80-90% of the Carifta athletes are your go-to pool. You helped to create the present situation with the coaches, so live with it. It's all about the money.
Take your elitist head out of the clouds and start looking for talent in the public schools & Out Islands where 80% of the student population is found. What do you think Jamaica does to have so many good T/F athletes? Many come from the rural schools too.
Until then .......... Don't complain if you don't invest in your hidden human resources.

So, where is this PWC report??
The New Day PLP have been using these phony documents, police investigations and court cases to handcuff any Opposition to their selfish initiatives.
It just seems like something with this GBPA demand letter is underhanded ........ So show us the PWC report.

You hit the nail on the head ....... Self inflicted inflation has produced a cost of living that makes life almost unsustainable in Nassau.
Modern living and amenities have caused FI people to mimic Nassau living ...... And it's twice as expensive.
