Most of our problem lies in our ill-disciplined haste to make babies, without proper planning or responsibility .......... Illegitimate children make up almost 70% of our population ......... and the kids take the Mama citizenship status ........ So lousy irresponsible Bahamian men who have these kids with foreign baby mamas are creating a host of national issues based on the Constitution.

Well ............. why do we see NO changes in how Government operates??? ........... despite rising national debt, personal debt, VAT and surcharges???

This Government system has to be abolished and start over ......... bring a Bill to Parliament to abolish the present Constitution ............ and start over with a unicameral, proportional representative Assembly and elected two-term limit President .......... Get rid of General Orders and this entitled colonial civil service ......... and sell all of these these state-owned corporations, get rid of ALL failing schools and create magnet academies ............. and give the islands true Local Govt with their own assemblies and finance .......... aka 242Revolution.

The Executive Branch is hamstrung by the Legislature and the Judiciary Branches (and itself).......... There are three co-equal Branches of Government in our country ........... Minnis cannot change this three-headed monster system that easy ........ this Bahamian quagmire of web has been in the making from 1964 ........... But change must come before we ALL perish.

The FNM in The Bahamas is the equivalent of the Republican Party in the USA .......... and Minnis is doing his best Trump impression ............ 2020 for Trump, 2022 for Minnis

So true ............... Have you passed by most school yards?????? What do you see??????? .............. concrete, lawn, and tarmac ......... most school yards are too small for any trees to be planted (especially in Nassau) .......... the ghetto schools usually have the big, old trees already.

No Sir ........... this too is a form of protest .......... and the politicians take note of these postings ......... believe me, they tell me that.

We sure don't need a VAT hike (was there to be one?????)............ with BPL fuel surcharge, gas stations, NAD, NIB, banks, foodstores, schools, insurance, mailboats, and NHI squeezing more and more from your stagnant salary in the next two years ....... These politicians really think Bahamians fool.

But you left out an important point ........ our country still was responsible for her upbringing ....... whether she appreciates it or not now ..... Jamaica probably contributed very little to her ......... But she will probably be proud to say she is Jamaican now ......... Such is life for these ungrateful half-breeds

Further ............ her father could have done the honorable thing from Day ONE ....... either marry the baby mama or adopt his child .......... Do not go blaming a country for personal failings.

And on your point about marrying foreign man .......... that is your choice based on Article 9 .............. Live with it or follow your white man.

Why do we have 28 Family Island Government-owned airports?????? ......... Each island needs one airport ...... why do some islands have three, four and five airports???????? ......... Why does Eleuthera have THREE international airports, while Long Island has NONE??????

Same thing with schools, clinics, docks, etc ........... Too much wastage, cost, and redundancy.
