TalRussell, I didn't mention the Sand Dollar.

But based on what you and I have seen since it was introduced into Exuma, is this digital currency being embraced by Bahamians?

Whether it is NP or islands that don't have banks?

Come on Tal, what say you?????

Please ....... Someone speak some sense into John Rolle's ear.

You can't get rid of our 242 coins, paper cash and checks. Just look at this crap called crypto currency.

Bahamians don't trust or want that.

sheeprunner12 says...

Davis and the PLP don't care about the ordinary Bahamians.

Just look at their policies since last September ...... and how that has ruined the small man's way of life.

Words must be backed up with actions. The PLP is sadly lacking in actions.

**Prime Minister Philip Davis KC previously said his administration was working with FTX to structure The Bahamas’ blue carbon credits, derived from its seagrass and mangrove carbon sinks, and exploring the creation of a carbon credit exchange with it where these securities could be traded. That work is now likely to be interrupted at the very least, and the Government may need to seek out a new partner.**

This is not good for our country ......... Brave has a history of dealing with dubious underworld characters in his profession as a criminal lawyer (he bragged about his prowess).

Now, the chickens are coming home to roost in this "digital" underworld and Brave will be exposed in his dealings with so-called investors who will be found wanting by Uncle Sam.

This will give the oecd/fatf more ammunition to look at us with suspicion and justify their reasons for downgrading us.

Lord Jesus ........... the old saying "everything that glitters, ain't gold" is so true.

This is why hard currency notes are still the gold standard ...... and why Bahamians are reluctant to fool around with these new fancy forms of "currency".

The Mark of the Beast is real ................. just look at Sweden with their microchip in hand

Please do not expect 242 politicians to resign out of honour ......... their honour is as shallow as their words and promises to the Bahamian citizens.

Can anyone remember why the Government bought this hotel in the first place??????? ......... To save a few GB jobs.

The problem lies at the feet of Hutchinson-Whampoa and GBPA ......... these two lousy entities are trying to squeeze the Government to take on assets in GB that they do not want to carry on their asset/liability portfolio .......... Now both FNM & PLP are left holding the hotel & airport bag.

There is no good end in sight for this fiasco ........... two white elephants and no investors.
