There are many hard working public officers - and like any profession, the bad apples spoil the bunch.
The usual cry that public officers are lazy and good-for-nothing is very unfair to those who work diligently to keep the creaky wheels of Government turning.
The political interference in the public service has a lot to do with the inefficiency and ineffectiveness of some agencies. So be it ...............
Brave has latched on to the belief that climate change will earn the Bahamas "easy money". This is a mistaken idea that he will use to create a narrative to give the citizens false hope of future prosperity .................. Much of what Andrew Allen has said about the Bahamas' disingenuous approach to the issue of climate change is true .............. why is it that there are as many cars lined up at every residence as persons who live in that house? On a 21x7 island???????
The Government and the citizens are just paying lip service to changing our lifestyles when it comes to carbon emissions.
The only way around this curse of "minimum wage" is to create a law mandated wage rate based on a person's age, schooling, and on-the-job experience.
Say for example, a cashier who has worked on a job for 5 years, with a high school diploma and has since earned a City & Guilds diploma should not be making minimum wage in years 6-10. Thereafter, their wages should increase by 5 to 10% at every 5 years interval.
Same thing should apply to any field of work. Minimum wage should not apply to people over 25. Hence, no worker should be making minimum wage at 18 and still be doing so at 30, 40 or 50.

Right on, bruh. Stop pandering to the foreign agencies who want us to go easy on illegal immigrants. Flush them out and get rid of every illegal.
If Haitians cannot get citizenship, send them home too. A Haitian permanent resident is just like an illegal. Either they are with us or against us.
