I don't want to sound like I am taking the criminals side because something have to be done with crimes in the Bahamas. However, how do the police show up at a house for a criminal and you have three armed males and all three of them got picked off by the cops and the cops walk out injury free? Either those criminals are lousy with guns or the police got trained by the Israeli military, because it don't sound plausible for this to happened just like that.
The business owners can't just let the pigs roam free at night on an inhabited island or he would be giving out free ham, bacon and pork chops. Also, why would the pigs come back in the morning to work? This women probably have some kind of link to the original swimming with the pigs operators on Exuma and don't want no other business to pop up.
He was the sole person paying the bills for his family and still had another job, if he did plead not guilty he would've gone to jail for 3 months, hence losing the other job and wife and kids could've been out in the street, and when he come out of jail, he probably wouldn't have find another job. So to plead not guilty would've ruin his life also. I am not dismissing what you said but pleading guilty is the lesser of two evil, so instead of us getting on him for pleading guilty, we all should be getting on the system for not giving people bail, especially for a crime like this one.
I was thinking down the same line, how are they going to turn a profit when a lot of Bahamians going to University out of the country and then even if you keep the ones that is going to the U.S, Canada, U.K, Jamaica and where ever else they would go, that still wouldn't be enough enrollment to make that money back. You would need a plan to lower people from other country to come to the Bahamas to attend college and the infrastructure isn't there for that.
War on crimes should have been wage a long time ago, not when an officer is gunned down, it send two messages: 1. Criminals are targeting anyone indiscriminately 2. And on the other hand, it is only a big problem when it hit close to home with the politicians. The first place to start is with corruption because we are teaching our citizens how to be dishonest and corruption begat stealing and stealing begat murder. Let me leave by giving my condolences to the officer and countless other Bahamians who were victim of murder.
This was a dumb time even for a targeted execution, but anything is possible. I think this is a case of when you are dumb, you are dangerous, those are the kind of criminals that even the gangs don't want because they are a danger to anyone.
Let me stray away from what everyone else is talking about. What education, and experience did this 21 year old had to become and Accounts Manager? I am not against promotion but I would think a lot of people at BPL paid their dues and had the experience to have that job.

She ask for a hug so that would've been permission. However, it is a good idea to say it is against company policies to hug guess even if it is not.
