The U.S will always try to make people look incompetant when they themselve have these kind of things happening under their noses with medicare fraud where people have shop set up all over the U.S and claiming billions of dollars in medicare for equipments that was never delivered. They themselves don't do due dilligents when it comes to their own government getting swindle and they expect another country to do dilligent for them.

I understand exactly what he is saying, it is a trust factor, but also we have to rememeber that companies isn't investing in the Bahamas because they are sorry for Bahamians and want to create jobs for them, companies are investing because they are looking to make a profit. Our leaders have to be able to negotiate what is the median between the companies best interest and the best interest of Bahamians, if a company is going to make a better profit than they would make somewhere else then they will have no other choice than to give into our demands, or if a company can make a better profit somewhere else they don't care if we allow them to bring in foreigners for every position they would still go where the money is at, so the government would have to do an analysis of the industry, and what the we have to offer that is better than someone else, you could call it a strength, weekness, opportunities, threat analysis.

And that should be one of the only job that is a continueous job of a non-Bahamian, by the way there are a lot fail open heart surgery by new doctors as well as experience ones, failing is part of the process of learning. I'm not advocating that people shouldn't go to school because I'm in school, but I can learn a lot of these things on the job and I know a lot of them anyways.
