They can't pay the police their overtime but they could give out bonuses to BPL/BEC employees, they need to investigate the unions to see if any kickbacks was given to Shame Gibson.
The PLP lost deservingly so, however, not a government on this planet would've release that information so close to an election. That might sound sad but it would've been political suicide to do so. Now the question I have is why would someone in the present government ask for that information during election time, knowing that the information could not have been good.
The Data Center itself should have Generators, UPS and they could go the way of having solar. Because no Data Center should depend on utility as their only source of electricity.
This could very well be pandering to the people as usual, just like how they do in the U.S by charging a cop when they murder a black man only to acquit them later. I would like to be prove wrong but I really doubt that I will.
Also, if someone owes Customs from back in 2001, that is as much the Government fault as it is the person fault. How could a Government allow this to happen? It shows that most of them that have business and import things for their business don't pay customs on it.
The only thing surprising about this is the little amount of money that he took for kickbacks. If this was some small Joe trying to get a contract or something with the Government, Shane Gibson would have take up to half of his money.
The story said that four males pulled up behind the officer and all four had hand guns, the police shot and killed one and the others turn themselves in. That story don't sound right, four men with guns against one officer and the officer killed one and not one of them shot the officer and to add to the story they turn themselves in.
You think those employees wasn't stealing under the FNM? This a tendency of a lot of Bahamians and bringing in the police could be just as futile because some of them does thief also.
It is a reason why gun smuggling is a bad thing, if the Bahamas start making them, the smuggling will cease but the bad thing will still exist. Gun Violence.
