Ok fine, so rather than targeting those trying hard to keep up with the electrical bill (but paying something) why not also target those who are paying nothing but are turned on illegally by their buddies at BPL? Some of these people have been on for years and no ones bothering them. It’s not like this is something new or that we don’t know about, we all live in ‘ neighbourhoods where there is at least one person or more illegally connected, and whose paying for this? No one but struggling paying customers, who else!

WHY? Why y’all so worked up? By now y’all should know this is just a public spectacle, a petty checker game, a silly showdown between the two nations, this is no check and balance. Not a thing coming out of this, so focus.

Don’t make me laugh! The Bahamas leaderships have been pawns for half a century, like all negro nations decisions are dictated. It did the same thing to Castro! It does what it is told. So who in the world will take these negro misleaders around here seriously?

After all, we should expect nothing other than this, it’s the plan!! Everyone who knows how to break things and make it difficult for Bahamians (without making it so obvious) are put in place. What else to expect when only party supporters are constantly the choices (over qualified quality people) to direct public agencies. These favoring few are placed in every agency, every position everywhere and kept in place under every administration. Sure they shuffled these people around, but it’s the same troublesome trouble makers everywhere, everytime, every admin, breaking everything for everyone. So what other outcome should we have expected, but this, no better, but this. Mission nearly accomplished!

The gluttonous only interest is how they will make money from lowering energy cost and at the same time how to keep the people under their control. We must learn how to present plans detailing how the gluttonous can make more money and keep our obedience to them without costing them a cent. That’s what the political parties/lobbyist do, we must learn how to do this. Until Bahamian civil groups learn how to play politics and do business they’ll always be outsmarted, sidelined, ignored and deceived, or setup to use the public achieving nothing other than to be boughtout. There can be no other outcome as long as the people continue to sign up and to be lead by those with Nothing other than outdated begging methods. So good luck with this!

It’s hard for foreigners to do business in this country because it’s designed by the white Bahamian oligarchs to prevent the negros from getting ahead without party permission. Now that they embrassed and forced to reform their antiquated schemes intended against Bahamian negros they will do this nonetheless in ways that red tapes remain in place for the negros while red carpet are rolled out for the foreigners. After all look whose chairing the reform -the Holoweskos, the UBP group, FNM and PLParty masters!!!!!!

“He expressed frustration that The Bahamas was "chasing so many balls" as a result of separate initiatives launched simultaneously by the fatf, oecd and European Union (EU), which was making it more difficult for the country to respond appropriately.“. this is an easy one!

It’s not because they have to much to process from everyone all at once, it’s just that the people they appoint to serve in order to secure their political interest are NOT FIT for the positions they are situated. Hopefully the day comes very soon that a proper Bahamian goverment realizes that childish manners, excuses, incompetence and folly have no place in global affairs,

Ok here is a respond from another D average person:
Well most of these homes are not lived in by the owners. They rent or lease them out competing in the tourist market. Sure a few minimum paid jobs, but largely dominated by Philippines, Haitians, Cubans, Jamaicans and others. So, besides that, and besides the realtors and law firms racking up tens of million$ exactly how much the public treasury earns from the present arrangement of these second home owners business ventures and tax dodging schemes?

I’ll appreciate exact figures please, especially since you are smarter than the rest of the nation...

OK what rules they broke? The MP’s are there to legislate and to cast their mark up or down. What is this that it is against the rules? So is this the silly rule a parliamentary act, constitutional or is it party twist? We need to see the text of this rule, not the interpretations of this silly rule.
