One thing that he said that is true is that people can be really stupid about social distancing. When you mention to people to stay on their 3 ft. line and not right up under you, some of them want to curse you out - just for telling them to follow common sense. It would be foolish to extend the lockdowns. With the continuous flow of cases in Grand Bahama even **before** the national lockdown, it shows these lockdowns aren't doing much. Keeping the border closed was the cause and also the answer.

These cases came from the USA. It will take a while to normalize. **Continually making everyone stay home is not effective - Grand Bahama is proof of this**. Just keep the borders closed for a while longer. Everyone is rushing to a vaccine. I think that will be coming through the pipeline soon. The US will probably be among the first to get it, so that will help things turn around. If the timeline of Feb/2021 for a vaccine is realistic, that would be a good thing.

Let the businesses socially distance, people wear masks and just see how long you can keep the borders closed, but stop these 24-hour curfews. I think the 10 pm curfew is okay.
This makes a lot of sense. Excellent display of **social distancing** by a government entity!!!!
Why can't these government offices get their act together? I see why we love conch salad so much in this country... **we always mixed up**!! SMH
Yes, then the fact that it's an invasive species means that it has no local predators to keep it in check... just like the lion fish.
These people need to stop **importing** these fancy plants, that have fancy eggs that they can't see hidden in them...that produce fancy frogs... that squirt fancy poison and endanger native animals.

Next thing we'll hear, is that they accidentally imported a poisonous snake. I'm happy to know that our native creatures are not poisonous. we don't need any more invasive species brought here by accident!!
They need to monitor imports more closely and have these things sanitized better to kill eggs and the like, **before** bringing them here. SMH
