Wow, what a harrowing story.
The sad thing is... this is probably one of the *better* experiences of many of the people there.

My heart breaks for Abaco and Grand Bahama. I know many of us have family there too. It's just sad all around.
No it's true. Well at least they are now saying a **Cat 3 - 115 mph** just before it hits Florida. Go to weather.com/storms/hurricane-central (But the **middle** of the cone has it slightly east of us. However these trajectories do tend to change.)

Storms always intensify as they move over The Bahamas unfortunately.
Another thing with the government schools is that you have a few schools that are fully air-conditioned. Therefore, if the power is off for 3 to 4 hours that means there will be no ventilation and darkness (some of the "inner" classrooms have no windows).

Plus, BPL said this problem will go on until **November**, exams usually start end of November and 1st week December. So what kind of first school term will this really be?
Well you know the old adage... **he who fails to plan, plans to fail**!!
Yes, but why does Baha Mar get all this advanced notice of power cuts and the rest of the public does not???
They can post load shedding schedules online **more frequently** and be very **specific**. It's load shedding, it's not accidental!!! So they know **exactly** when they will turn off the power and **exactly what area** and **exactly for how long**.

Why does Baha Mar get this **specific** information and not the rest of the public? Is Baha Mar **better** than everyone else?
Oh the PM offering sympathy?
Well that's good, cause I ready to have a **funeral service** for BPL and the FNM at the same time if they don't turn this garbage around!!!

It's so ironic that the day the PM was there, was the day my power was out the most in **one day**. I thought you put on ya **best** when the head honchos come around????

So why would the principal think that teachers are entitled to a lunch hour?
This story seems crazy. What are they slaves or something?
