That's just disgraceful. Bahamians wake up!

Agreed "Bahamas". Why are we hearing from this man more than PM Minnis? Didn't he retire? I think it's time for HAI to ride off into the sunset!

Sad news. Condolences to the family.

Wow, never thought I'd see the day when the words "Hubert Ingraham" and "humility" would ever be used in the same sentence. I mean they both begin with "h", but that's about where the similarities end.

Donald Trump himself is the greatest threat. It's really not wise leaving nuclear control in the hands of a 71 yr old man-child. I truly feel he will not rest until he is a large part of the cause of World War III.

You have made some salient points. While I may not agree with everything, these things go so much deeper than party politics. Corruption is within ALL administrations and it's not something that I think is going away anytime soon (People get so caught up in the plp, fnm, dna - "Die Hard" nonsense).
My prayer is that hopefully our new PM Minnis will not follow along the lines of previous PMs and will root out MOST corrupt practices whether from the former administration or from his OWN party. (I highly doubt all corruption will ever be FULLY weeded out, I can settle for most). Once I see Minnis being tough on FNMs and PLPs who do nonsense (without partiality), then he will be fully respected.

My condolences to the family.
Again, I caution readers with their comments here. I'm doubtful anyone here can speak about his family life and no one here can speak to his relationship with God leading up to his passing. Rom 14: 4 "Who are you to judge another’s servant?"
I'm grateful to God that I still have life so that I can work on being a better human being because I also have many things to work on. But honestly, there's a time and place for everything. Family members, I do pray your strength during this difficult time.

Paleeasse! IMHO- There's no politician in The Bahamas, and there are many whose characters are questionable, that can ever compare to Donald Trump. Don't get me wrong, we've had some corrupt politicians, and probably will always have at least SOME corrupt politicians in our country. But Trump is just the worse of the worse.
I have no problems with PM Minnis so far. Right now, comparing him to such a terrible leader is just a huge insult. (If that ever changes I will be the first to concede).

Alfalfa you're right, unless you were there to know the reason for this tragedy only condolences are appropriate now. My condolences to the family.

Yes, agreed BahamaPundit. It's time to move on.
I feel sorry for Izmirlian but when you look at it, another delay would only mean problems for the economy and probably give The Bahamas a worse reputation.
