Or do you mean like how Brent Symontte was effectively fired by Hubbigity for - self dealing. Or like how the only person convicted of corruption in The Bahamas for the past 25 years has been a former FNM candidate? Can we stop playing these childish games and deal with issues, please?

That's what people said about the FNM with Hubert Minnis at the helm too, and we see what happened in that last election. My point here is not to support Brave but, rather, to show that Bahamians could not care less who is in opposition When we are tired of the government, they will be removed.

He just explained why, Thanos. And the reason is quite valid, actually.

Um, Brent, if the meet record is 22.11 and Shaunae ran 22.18, then she did not eclipse the meet record. Oh, I give up..Brent, Neill Hartnell, all ham and eggers.

licks2, I will not question your professionalism with respect to analysis and examinations of objects. But would I would genuinely like for you to do is to explain why the report is "woefully wanting" and "asinine"(sic) and why do you "cry shame for this yard chicken approach?" Instead of engaging in high school, nay, primary school name calling, can you please educate us on what exactly was wrong with Mr. McIntosh's report? This is a critical issue and, if you have something substantive and indeed some expertise on this issue, please educate people like me who are genuinely trying to ascertain what is happening. This is a better suggestion that name calling, is it not?

Um, you do realize that FNMs voted against the 2002 referendum too, right...RIGHT?

tetelestai says...

So, what are you suggesting is that we, Bahamians, are so obtuse that we vote based on what the PLP did back in 2002? Nonsense! Oh, and by the way, let us put petty politics aside, the 2002 referendum deserved to fail - not because of anything the PLP did, but rather the process was convoluted and the government of the day (read: Hubert Ingraham) was so arrogant that he thought the FNM could do no wrong and, by merely presenting any slapdash nonsense to the Bahamian people, it would pass. He was taught a very needed lesson in humility. So, no, sheeprunner, the referendum process has not been hijacked, that's just silly to suggest that.
