The new and latest trend is to rent cheap rental cars, they're already insured, aren't they, and the occupants couldn't care less whether or not they mash your car from the way they drive them. These are also used for criminal activities as they offer a certain degree of anonymity to the users.
And to add further insult to injury, the crooked customs officers that can't tief anymore because they've gone cashless are holding peoples' shipments hostage for trivial reasons looking for cash handouts to release goods or speed up the process, happens every year at this time.
You are correct Mrs. Burnside; the pirates are still in business but the majority of them are still Bahamians. They can be found ensconced throughout the entire strata of our society, from the House of Assembly, government ministries and Corporations, all the way to the gutter. MOW, Town Planning, Customs and Immigration, the Police and Defense Forces, even in the Pulpit, our society is riddled with them, the rot runs deep. Everything in this country has a price on it and if you want to play you have to pay. We have met the enemy, and it is us!
Das right Brudda sheepie, throw all dem other folks unda da bus and tar dem wid we brush, ain no Bahamian turd world dregs of society "my good son" dem in Fox Hell for tiefin, raping, violence and murder. Munroe needs to stop and smell the stuff he's shoveling.
Bahamians don't need to rely on any report from the UN or anyone else for that matter when it comes to police corruption and brutality in this country, they live with it every day.
We trust them just as much as we trust him which is to say not at all.

Who's having the brainfart here? How do you propose to identify the shark that did the killing, tooth prints perhaps? Or will you just go out there and kill every shark you come across and hope you got the right one? If stupidity is a good enough reason, I can think of any number of humans who should be put down, at the very least they shouldn't be allowed to breed.
The letter writer is obviously another Minnisite troll and shit stirrer who offers nothing coherent in his/her flagellation of Pintard. The main reason Pintard cannot gain any traction stems from his constant undermining by the Minnisites , who like their idol, don’t seem to understand the emphatic rejection of Dr Minnis by the electorate and the FNM base as a whole in the last election. Dr Minnis is like a spoilt child, if I can’t have what I want I’ll just ruin it for everyone else. The FNM would be a whole lot better off if Dr Minnis were to stop being delusional about his chances of being Prime Minister again, accept his rejection by the electorate and the party base, and get a life outside of politics.
Thats right stupid, persecute the lifeguard! Once you go beyond the established swim lines you are no longer the lifeguard's responsibility, further, he/she has no authority to prevent any adult from venturing further offshore, that's their choice. The Bahamas isn't the only country in the world that there are shark attacks. There were 259 recorded shark attacks off the Florida coast between 2012 & 2021, New Smyrna Beach being the worst area, don't forget Australia and south Africa either.
