Agreed, and his support of Richard Johnson further robs Banister of any credibility as Johnson has always been a crude & rude rebel rouser by anyone's stretch of imagination.
Take a look at the scrappy strands of cheap Christmas lights that are crudely wrapped around the trunks of the seagrape trees along west Bay Street and ask yourself if we’re getting any value for money, even Wisdom’s pathetic crocus bags offerings had more class. Families friends and lovers all on the $500K Christmas decorations gravy train, its so easy to spend other people’s money.
Maybe introducing that best seller "The Dreaded Disease" by Russian author Ivan Rotchacokoff might have made an impression on our promiscuous peeps --- yes?
The knives are out in the power struggle between a has been and a wannabe, neither of whom resonate with the electorate, just two overfed mullets whose ocean has shrunk to a wading pool. Meanwhile the PLP and the electorate are laughing like drains.
Reluctantly I have to agree with you. The question begs who could emerge as a leader who can energize and revitalize the party? At the moment the choice is the lesser of two weevils, Pintard or Minnis neither of whom resonate with the electorate. I would never have thought it possible but the letter writer has reached higher elevations by challenging the indefatigable Ortland Bodie for the privilege of anointing Braves buns. Those stately loaves must be positively glowing from the warmth of all the attention bestowed on them by these two. It would not surprise me to find that the letter writer is a member of Braves entourage as he tries to promote him as the champion of global warming while he globetrots begging bowl in hand. Every storm drain in Nassau is choked with weeds, spoil and garbage, two of the three in the east bay and Dowdeswell Street area have collapsed. Did no one notice the huge sewerage spill in the road a few days ago in front of the Potters Cay pumping station? Whenever there is more than an inch of rain or two east Bay Street from Elizabeth Avenue to the Paradise Island bridge including most of Dowdeswell Street is inundated to a depth of two or three feet of water in the street. The condition of the storm drains throughout much of New Providence is the same. Sea wall’s all over the island are in serious disrepair not to mention the harbor breakwater, yet the letter writer tries to hold Davis up as a champion for global warming? Please, don’t piss down my collar and tell me it’s raining.
#He said he had been busy and wasn’t aware of the IMF’s position until The Tribune asked him about it after an event to open the Turks & Caicos Government Diaspora Office last night. He is scheduled to attend the COP28 event in Dubai.
Is that an admission that he’s been asleep at the wheel and the cost of all those air miles is finally coming home to roost?
