Birdie you have your United States history just as twisted as your Bahamian. The Trail of Tears to which you refer was the displacement of native Americans, primarily the Cherokee tribe beginning in 1830. Americans celebrate Thanksgiving in memory of the Pilgrims who arrived from England in 1620 fleeing religious persecution establishing the Plymouth colony in Massachusetts under the leadership of John Smith. Who knows, he might have been one of Fred’s ancestors 🤣😂.
Par for the course, typical PLP behavior, fire the Whistleblower, exonerate the offending party and sweep the sordid remains under the carpet. The party first, the people last!
More bells and whistles, smoke and mirrors that the PLP excels at. What a complete and utter waste of taxpayer money! Would have been far better spent donated to Hands for Hunger or some of the other feeding networks, our people are going hungry and the government gives them lights and ornaments, what a shame.
Shingles come in all different shapes and sizes, different grades and different textures not to mention different prices. I'm sure that given time Mr. Smith will find some that will fit his needs.
I'm sure you have laid your plans and one of them probably incudes an offshore bank account, seeing as by your own declaration you don't have one here at home, with anticipation and expectation of the largesse usually associated with partisan political connections and affiliations in this country. How much of your plans actually relates to relief for your constituents remains to be seen, the proof will be in the pudding.
They think they have it tough now, just wait until they put up the bleachers and crowd control barriers for junkanoo which will take away the already limited amount of public parking available on Bay St. If I can't park, I can't shop.
@trueBahamian. Civilians always get the shit end of the stick in any war and depending on who's version of history you're reading will determine whether or not it is justifiable. In 1940 the Nazi's blitz of London killed 13 thousand civilians in September alone. During the British and American reprisal saturation raids on Germany starting in 1942, 35 thousand civilians were killed in Dresden and 45 thousand killed in Hamburg in one night. But the icing on the cake belongs to the Americans who firebombed Tokyo on March 9th, 1945, killing more than 100 thousand civilians. I wonder if any of the survivors thought that it was justifiable? And did anyone in the rest of the civilized world give a shit?
Make sure you have them, cameras, installed in both bedrooms and bathrooms and make sure they have pan, tilt and zoom features. Perhaps invite the Christian Council to participate so they can have a pervseye view of marital rape and LGBT activity.

I agree that the Israeli response including the collateral damage, the slaughter of innocents, has gone too far. On the other hand the old saying you should be careful what you wish for because you might get it comes to mind with the Palestinians having freely elected a terrorist organization, Hamas, as their government. When you sup with the devil you need a long spoon.
