The RBPF and RBDF both been on a power trip forever, selective enforcement has been their modus operandus since time. As we fond of saying, ain' no law fa dem!
@trueBahamian, why don't you ask Brave to "do everyone a favor and articulate what should be done to stop this issue" as you and tribanon seem to be of the opinion from some of your previous posts that he has all the answers. It's OK for Davis to point fingers but not Sands? Not that it matters a hill of beans as they're both nothing more than a couple of pompous windbags, to quote an old Bahamian songwriter "empty barrels make the most noise!"
Yes, how clever of them to have the airport open all weekend fully staffed with customs, immigration, police, security, and essential baggage handlers to accommodate all those traveling Nassuvians who are locked down and all those family islanders who will be flocking to Nassau's COVID environment.
Repost: the fact that you have to ask where and when our people became so socially disconnected speaks volumes. Where were you living or were you in fact alive when the Columbian hitmen would rampage through our streets and neighborhoods during the Pindling administration time.
Where were you when those same Columbians operated with impunity from their base in Normans Cay a mere fifty miles from the Capital, where large sums of money exchanged hands and in jam jars and when the standard response from our politicians and religious leaders was "I don't recall," "Don't mind where I get my money from, or if I tief it" and "Principle don't put bread on the table."?
Where were you when Opposition members and Judges houses and cars were firebombed, drug money flowed throughout the country like water and our Nation was for sale?
All of this perpetrated on us and presided over by The Father of the Nation. And all of this leading us to where we are now by the compliance, consent, and the avaricious nature of the Bahamian People.
I'm sure beyond the shadow of a doubt that the thousands of fish, conchs, crawfish, and other diverse marine life that will be killed off as a result of even a small spill will take comfort in knowing that "all necessary insurance covers for Perseverance One have been secured through the broker, Aon UK, with insurers from Lloyd’s of London and other international markets underwriting it."
I'm not a fan of any American news station as most of them offer more opinion than news. But CNN is no worse than Fox News which is eerily similar to what ZNS became under the Pindling regime, a political mouthpiece, apologist, and deflector of the truth.

Highly unlikely this boat was out of Nassau. My best guess would be them leaving Black Point going to Staniel Cay.

" Mr Davis called for a comprehensive plan to fight COVID-19 and its affects on the country."
Why don't you tell us what your comprehensive plan is to fight COVID-19 or shut up!
Its a pity we can't find a way to press your pause or should that be delete button!
On Davis: all we’re doing is pressing the pause button
