Our criminal justice system should include three strikes and you’re out, or in this case in for the rest of your life. Repeat offenders like this man should be permanently incarcerated to protect both himself and the community at large.
"Let people be who they want, and answer to God for themselves."
Unfortunately, Mr. Ingraham, that is the root of the problem.
Since the establishment of Independence and Majority Rule we as a people have amply demonstrated that we are incapable of self-discipline or self-governance.
From counselling their parishioners on the carpet in the church office or from the back seat of the car in the church parking lot our so called "Spiritual" leaders have set the benchmark for promiscuity as have certain members of the political sphere over the years, and some quite recently, with their sexual mores and gaffs prominently on display and their do as I say not as I do example.
Bahamians, particularly those who inhabit Nassau, have long since lost their moral compass by being who they want to be and by aspiring to be like their "role models" mentioned above.
There is no longer any discipline or sense of self-worth among our people only greed, avarice and an overwhelming sense of self entitlement, if it's good for me it has to be good for everyone else.
Those Bahamians who seen enough and have uprooted their families and moved on must know how Lot felt as he walked away from Sodom and Gomorrah!
Comforting to see Latrae Rahming falling back on that ole PLP standby, If you can’t dazzle them (the people) with brilliance, just baffle them with bullshit!
There I probably no plan in place just an intent. Politically connected people are buying up derelict Bay Street properties in a new land grab after which the government will conveniently change the zoning and building height restrictions that have kept the current owners from developing these properties. I’m watching with interest to see how long it takes the just demolished old Williams Shoe Store property to turn into another weed and garbage receptacle.
As in most third world countries, especially those transitioning from colonial style governance to majority rule, and especially in light of the past and current administrations, “Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely!”
It would appear that despite his sore supper singing throat, brown nose and lips, letter writer Bodie is the one who remains irrelevant in the scheme of things. Congratulations Mr Roker on your well deserved honor!

Every time I think that the stupidity of some of our people can no longer surprise me, they do, they won't let you down, they won't disappoint you.
