@john, what drug am I on? I get a natural high, not to mention serious entertainment, from winding you up so easily just like the proverbial cuckoo clock you are, cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo! šš¤£
And what makes you think, considering HAM's rejection and boycotting at the poles by the FNM faithful during the last election, that he will miraculously rise from the ashes of his own immolation?
@diver, I beg to differ, I have four cats two of which are dedicated ratters, and while they get their fair share of kills the dent they make in the local rat population, seeing as they, rats, breed as quickly as rabbits, is negligible to say the least. And I won't use poison either for fear that the dogs might get into it or one of the cats decide to eat an already poisoned rat.
As a well-known, respected and long deceased Statesman once put it with regards to the politician; "He's asked to stand, he wants to sit, he's expected to lie........"
No need to get all prickly porcupine, I happen to agree with your assessment of our system of taxation and the gulf between the haves and have nots. Iām just curious to know who and how Mr Allen, and the government by extension, classify who falls into the the 10 percenters and what would be the threshold for inclusion?
And what laws do we have in this country that prevent men from having a stable non violent relationship with ONE woman, accepting responsibility for and nurturing the children THEY fathered through to young adulthood? Of course that isnāt a manly thing, our āmenā measure their masculinity by the number of women they can impregnate and the number of children they can brag are theirs while conveniently abdicating all of their parental responsibilities. A measly $50 a month paid to the court doesnāt absolve these derelict fathers. The unfortunate truth is most of them are themselves a product of that same vicious cycle. Our governments failure to educate our children in sexual education, birth control and family planning hasnāt helped, neither has the vast majority of the so called men of the cloth some of whom are the worst offenders and predators. We as a society lost our moral compass long ago and are now teetering on the brink of no return.
Mr Allen, as the successful and highfalutin businessman you have in the past claimed to be surely you include yourself on that privileged list of 10% and have no objections to paying your fair share? Say it isnāt soā¦ā¦ā¦.
@john, Iām unsure of which drugs you use to maintain your constant state of spacial disorientation in the fantasy world in which you reside, but Iām sure theyāre dangerous. You need help.
And then the opposition turkey buzzards will replace them, they're all cut from the same cloth, the more things change the more they stay the same, over the last fifty years the Bahamian people have learned nothing by repeating the same ole, same ole.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, Bay Street notwithstanding, but we have a rodent epidemic throughout the whole of New Providence. It doesn't matter whether you live over the hill or in some gated community the rats, both two and four legged varieties find their way in sooner or later.
