@john, the fact is that whether or not they are members of the police or defense force is irrelevant. How many Bahamians of Caucasian, Chinese or Greek descent do you see teifing or killing up each other on a daily basis? The cracks and leaks in the dam that started during Pindlings time have over time under successive visionless governments become the raging torrent of crime that now engulfs the nation. And now we find ourselves up shit creek in a leaking boat, no paddles, no life jackets, no moral compass and wonder how we got here. SMH!!
“ Misleading Parliament is, under the Westminster system under which we too operate, one of the likeliest things to lead to a resignation. Parliament needs to rely on the information it receives being honest and accurate – so if it is misled, or lied to, the decisions it makes is based on false information. If you mislead the nation’s decision-making body, you are expected to resign”
If this is the criteria or standard that our politician’s were held to then Brave Davis wouldn’t be Prime Minister today, some of us still remember the BAMSI Fire insurance fairytale.
The definition of a politician as described by WSC “ He’s asked to stand, he wants to sit, he’s expected to lie!”
Are the farmers not cutting down large swathes of the pine forests to clear land for arable use ? I suppose clear cutting of forests for agriculture isn’t considered deforestation but homeless people cutting some trees for shelter and subsistence is. Lincoln Bain our own home grown Bolsinaro.

There must have been some sort of malaise affecting the Speakers chair in recent years.
Deputy Speaker Dion Smith was an embarrassment, Halson Moultrie was an unmitigated disaster.
The current Speaker has just amply demonstrated her "you know who I is?" mentality that seems to be coming prevalent again in the Government ranks, with her ignorance, arrogance and ego prominently on display.
Armchair analyst Evans usually does his homework more thoroughly before opining on a subject he obviously, in this case, has little knowledge of. But, as they say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing and common sense isn’t all that common.
Notwithstanding the price of gas in California I would admire to know how a Piper Navajo with a maximum range of roughly 11-1,200 miles could make the trip from Los Angles or San Francisco to Deadman's Cay Long Island, roughly 2,700 miles, which would also take approximately 11 hours at the aircrafts best economical cruise speed of 240 mph. SMH!
