Biminites never had control of the island, not financially anyway. Without tourists there is no money. Rid the island of cases of covid and hope the tourists return.
If being locked in for 2 weeks will take away your self esteem, you didn't have much to begin with.
This is sad. Officer in charge on Bimini ( a known hot spot , place of the first covid death) admitted that there were persons known to be breaking curfew and when a magistrate comes to the island maybe next month they will deal with it. These young people needing an outlet to express their grief are arrested.
We don't get daily briefings nor are we asking for them, but major events happening last week should have been addressed by either the PM or the Minister of Health.

It's an "advisory" nothing new. They do it when necessary. There is crime in the U S and when necessary they issue a crime advisory.
