I witnessed a foreigner "yuck" her passport from an immigration officer. They get offended when asked for proof that they are here legally. The young man should not have been sitting on the air condition cover. The officer escalated the situation, but it seems the young man was a bit antagonizing.
Within the Nassau city limit and Family Island Settlements, the speed limit is 25 mph (approximately 40 kilometers per hour). Outside the city limits, the limit is 30 mph (50 kph) and where there is no speed limit posted.
I can be as ignorant as the person who locks their car when they leave it in a parking lot or my doors and windows at my home. I could leave the door and windows wide open because I like the fresh breeze, but I, for my own safety do not.
Nobody said anything about victims being responsible. What was said is to minimize the chance of someone viewing a scantily clad woman as an invitation to be groped, usually by a poorly socialized male, cover your body.
We have a constitution but if we are expected to change it to accommodate everyone's wishes then what is the point of having one. He always states Bahamian-born knowing that it does not equate to being Bahamian.
