You mean to tell me the very corrupt and grossly incompetent team of Davis and Cooper can't 'sell' the rights to our country's airspace to Communist Red China and have them and their favoured cronies pocket a generous chunk of the 'sale' proceeds!

Now learning that is really gonna disappoint both Davis and Cooper given that government is challenged to find buyers of government issued treasury instruments and they're desperately lookin' to 'sell' to foreign interests any and erryting that ain't tighted fastened down in our country today. The mighted corrupt among us are now reaping what they've sown. LOL

But ya gotta have sometin' to give up anyting, and right now too many got nut'in at all.

What we really need is an across the board personal income tax system that taxes at a minimum rate of 36% the worldwide income and realized capital gains of all residents of the Bahamas (Bahamians and foreigners alike) who earn more than $400,000 per annum, with limited tax treaty benefits for those who are paying income and capital gains taxes in other jurisdictions.

It's time for the corrupt ruling political elite in our country, like Snake, the Symonette family, the numbers bosses, etc., etc., to start paying their fair share of taxes so they can can steal their own tax dollars from public treasury rather than stealing ours.

What the one thing everyone wants and needs in the Bahamas today, but so few Bahamians have? That's right, money! Meanwhile the corrupt and cruel elitist political ruling and their cronies have more money than they can spend in three-dozen lifetimes.

I guess Bowe thinks most Bahamians have money like him to pay taxes. If you ain't got the moolas to pay taxes, you just can't pay any taxes. It's really as simple as that. LOL

Bethell is too smart for his own britches. We all know he first puts through enormous increases and then announces there will be no future increases. Most Bahamians are now on to his sly game. LMAO

But Fweddy Boy Mitchell is so very much looking forward to voicing his diplomatic views on Putin in many countries around the world. He has an enormous travel budget at our great expense that he simply must use or lose.

Forget bpl, wsc, Bahamasair, Broadcasting Corp of Bahamas, etc. etc. etc. all being in serious financial trouble.....their customers, being the vast majority of Bahamians, are themeselves in dire financial straits. Even our corrupt and incompetent elected officials are having a most difficult time these days getting their grubby hands on funds to waste, squander or outright tief.

You're so right. But for decades now the thieves and and other criminals in our country have been allowed to do whatever they want with complete impunity. And that includes most of our elected officials, permanent and assistant secretaries, lawyers, etc., etc. etc. It's the reason why we are now irreversibly well on our way to becoming the next Haiti in our region of the world.

They take away our rights and then return them as if they're doing us a big favour.

Think how many loved ones died over the last couple of years because they were not allowed to have a family member or advocate by their side to call out shoddy or neglectful healthcare services.

Think how many were put in the ground or cremated without a proper service attended by family members and friends being allowed to celebrate their life and pay their respects in their demise.

Think how many young children have been mentally scarred for life by having been cut off from social interations at school and the silly all along known uselessness of forcing them to wear a mask.

There' a lot of evil people in the world today who will do anything to cling to power and control others by dictatorial and authoritarian rule.
