As the price of oil has skyrocketed on the international markets, the cash value of the remaining contracts hedging BPL's fuel costs has soared.

And it's that current high cash value that the corrupt Davis and Cooper led PLP administration (and no doubt Sir Snake) would like to now 'cash-out' so they can get their grubby hands on a pile of cash notwithstanding that doing so would leave BPL customers with outrageously high and unaffordable electricity bills in the immediate future.

It seems they are desperately looking for cash wherever they can find it to meet their own corrupt needs and to hell with the consequences for the Bahamian people.

Sears wants us all to believe the corrupt Davis and Cooper led PLP administration has all kinds of different colour deals coming to the rescue of financially strapped Bahamians, e.g., green deals, blue deals, rainbow deals, blah, blah, blah.

The dire financial predicament many Bahamians find themselves in today is the inevitable outcome of decades of racist politics of the worst kind that duped voters into supporting corrupt elitist politicians whose only interest has been the lining their own pockets and the pockets of their financial-backers with our tax dollars, and by 'selling' the best our country has to offer to foreign interests under corrupt concession laden deals. And it's those same mega mega mega millions of tax dollars stolen from the people by the political ruling class over many decades that should have been wisely spent since 1973 developing and diversifying our economy rather than bankrupting it.

SLOP planted the seeds of socialism which all too quickly sprouted under carefully crafted racist politics into the corrupt and elitist political ruling class that for decades has raped, pillaged and plundered our country, leaving most Bahmians with a downward spiralling standard of living and quality of life. Yes indeed, SLOP's legacy is deeply rooted and about to come home to roost for most Bahamians in a most terrible and vicious way. This is what happens to a nation that does not take care of its people and a people who sit idly by and let the most greedy and evil elements of society take the reins of their destiny. So sad.

And Snake is right up there at the top of the list when it comes to our country's corrupt con artists.

Are you being cynical? USCG brings all of them they intercept to our country for us to feed, clothe and shelter until we can borrow the money needed to send them back to Haiti. And that presupposes the 'non-existent' Haitian government gives us permission to send them back to Haiti. USCG never takes any of them to the U.S.

The corrupt and incompetent Davis and Cooper led PLP administration is only now just beginning to understand why power-crazed Minnis, at the urging of the IMF and longtime big financial-backers of the FNM party, finally relented to their demands that he call an early national general election.

Tyrannical Minnis delayed calling the election for as long as he possibly could, until he was fully persuaded the FNM party was certain to experience a landslide defeat at the polls by angry voters.

Minnis was told in no uncertain terms by the traditional longtime very wealthy supporters of the FNM party, and no doubt by the IMF as well, that they would all much prefer the full force of the tidal wave of our country's maturing debt in the first half of 2022 hit a new PLP administration led by Davis and Cooper. Guess they all thought it was only fitting this should happen. LOL

Damn! That means about another 9 or 10 similarly loaded boats probably made it through to our shores in recent months. Most of them end up sunk on the sea floor in shallow waters just off of the shorelines of our islands.

For every boat caught there's at least another 9 or 10 that make it through to our shores somewhere undetected. Sadly, the U.S. Coast Guard tends to focus its interception efforts on those boats loaded with illegal aliens that stand a chance of making it to the U.S. shoreline.

You're gonna have to wait at least a week or so for that Commonwelath Bank story because Neil's free-lunch and free-dinner schedule is already choc-a-bloc full for the next week or so. LOL

We, as a country, continue to rue the day Christie, Davis and Sears spat in the face of the majority of Bahamians who voted "No" in a duly held national referendum to the legalization of the corrupt gaming activities of the despicable web shop thugs like Sebas Bastian and Craig Flowers.

The only brainstorming Davis is likely doing about BPL is trying to figure out a way to give all of BPL's assets to Snake, but have the Bahamian people (i.e., the government) keep all of BPL's liabilities (debt). LMAO

Even as many of us struggle to pay for food, gasoline, etc., she's still talking her politicized COVID nonsense while sucking heavily on the public treasury. It's all about their insatiable desire to exercise control over us by taking away our constitutionally guaranteed civil rights and liberties. She's a typical health bureacrat lacking in common sense and singing to her corrupt political masters for her supper.
