Sands detests being a heart surgeon in a Banana Republic. He has complained on more than one occasion that he could spend hours performing the best heart surgery possible on a patient who ends up dying anyway because of lousy post-op care by poorly trained and ill-equipped hospital staff.

Sands is also upset that too many of his patients are unable to pay the exorbitant price he charges for his surgical services and that our hospitals cannot afford the expensive state-of-the-art surgical equipment and other costly technologies being used by most highly skilled cardiologists in centres of medical excellence in the developed countries.

This relatively 'poor' highly educated and skilled cardiologist has watched too many dumber than dumb corrupt politicians get filthy rich and its just been eating him alive inside. He wants and believes very much that it's his turn to become a 'get filthy rich quick' corrupt politician.

Someone tell this moron Wilson and his side-kick Halkitis that we Bahamians are **not** the least bit interested in all of their jive talk about how significantly increasing our taxes now will result in a rosier outlook for our country's finances in future years. How many times do these bozos think they simply kick the proverbial can down the road and do nothing about the escalting outrageous cost of our forever growing unproductive civil workforce, not to mention our grossly over-bloated and hemorrhaging government owned enterprises. Wilson and Halkitis must think all of us already over-taxed Bahamians are fools.

Suffering lower income taxpayers all know the real game plan here is to raise taxes yet again in order to continue growing the size of government and providing more funds to be wasted, squanderered and/or stolen by fraudulent schemes of one kind or another devised by our corrupt political elite and their cronies. Frankly, we're fed up with all the sacrificing we must do so that they can live their elitist life-style while looking down on us.

That's utter BS when you consider the bulk of the uncollected property taxes is due from government owned enterprises, agencies and departments plus the very wealthy politically connected owners of property like Sebas Bastian and his enterprises, Franky Wilson aka Snake and his many enterprises, Craig Flowers and his enterprises, and so on, and so on.

Davis and Cooper promised time and time again in the run-up to the last national general election that there would be no new taxes if the PLP won and that the VAT rate would be reduced from 12% to 10%. Now they want new taxes that will be much higher than the token savings on the VAT rate that they gave us. Talk about two-faced liars!!!!!

Have you ever heard Michael Halkitis, Simon Wilson or John Rolle advocating in any meaningful way for a much needed reduction in wasteful and unnecessary government expenditures? Hell will freeze over before any them calls for a stop to the ever increasing size of our mostly unproductive civil workforce.

And just wait until you see the whopping increases in your electricity bill this coming summer as the price of a barrel of oil nears the US$100 mark.

That simply can't be true under the very widened medical definition of deaths caused by the Red China Virus and its variants. It's still much too hard to die in a hospital from anything but the Red China Virus and its variants.

The ka-ching, ka-ching for the favoured few in businesses profiteering off of the pandemic demands that the fear factor be kept as high as possible for as long as possible, at least until the Communist Chinese Party unleashes COVID-666 on the world.

And let's not forget that the elitist political ruling class believe we are much more easily controlled when distracted by fright.

Can't help but wonder how many of them showed up at the hospital with other serious ailments and then contracted the Wuhan Virus while in hospital.
