Robert "Sandy" Sands is just another Uncle Tom looking to hold Bahamian workers back by shamefully doing the bidding of the foreign masters he so dutifully serves. He and his foreign masters need to be reminded that in the hospitality business gratuities are for the most part intended to incentivize and reward employees for better service to hotel guests. These same gatuities therefore should not be used by hotel operators as a means for further reducing their payroll costs.

Doctors like Minnis, Sands, Darville and the like all want to be involved as politicians in making decisions about the running of our country when they've all proven they can't even as senior medical doctors run our public health system.

Your supposition is a truly scary one.

Poppycock, but you probably already know that.

Whenever you get riled up you sound more and more like @Tal's alter ego. Makes many of us wonder.

Unfortunately the bill was not drafted to simply right the wrong committed against those who were literally persecuted by the unconstitutional orders and protocols. The scope of bill is very deliberatedly and deviously designed to be applied by the cabinet minister (at the behest of the PM) to anyone he (or she) alone would see fit to apply it to with the controlling political party in the HOA acting as a rubber stamp.

And of course it cannot possibly be the responsibility of the corrupt and incompetent PLP government led by Cruel Davis to ensure the public hospital has sufficient beds, adequate medical equipment and supplies, sufficient qualified nurses and medical doctors, etc., etc. In your small one-sided mind, I'm sure that's all rightfully the responsibility of the FNM opposition. LOL

Typical editorial daftness by The Tribune as it presses for government to force employers and employees to put even more of their hard-earned money into the NIB fund which for decades has been operated by successive corrupt political leaders as a Ponzi scheme doomed to failure.

The cookie-jar is now bare for obvious reasons which are long beyond the ability to be changed in any meaningful way. Bottom line: A lot of people nearing retirement who for decades paid into the NIB fund will not receive the benefits they were promised.

And of course this corrupt and incompetent PLP government led by Cruel Davis would have the public believe the NIB fund is in need of life-support because it caught COVID-19. What a cruel joke of the kind only Cruel Davis would try tell.

Cruel Emperor Davis has no clothes....and he sure looks very ugly without them!

Decades of fraud, outright theft, and waste by the corrupt political ruling elite as they raped, pillaged and plundered the NIB fund have come home to roost and it's only too fitting that the roosting should be happening on Cruel Emperor Davis's watch.
