U.S. Department of State when it decides it is the right time to squeeze Short Fatso Davis in a big way. The enormous legal claims against The Bahamas government and others are still being carefully crafted by high-powered U.S. lawyers for the victims' families.
Nothing but a bunch of greedy insurers seeking to have government legislate liability caps on their third-party claim payouts to boost their profits even more. Any government that supports such greedy foolishness would quickly, and most rightfully, face fierce anger from Bahamian motorists who are already being called on to pay outrageously high auto insurance premiums.
What government really needs to do for the Bahamian people, is consider doing away with the mandatory third-party liability insurance requirement currently imposed by statute on motorists. The real problem is there are way too many uninsured motorists on our roads today who simply cannot afford even the minimum required third-party liability coverage. We need to start accepting the reality of the country we have become, thanks in great part to the corrupt ruling political elite, many of whom have an interest in insurance related businesses.
> It was revealed that persons with underlying health issues, who are unvaccinated, and with other risk factors such as asthma, and those who smoke or vape are particularly at risk for this condition.
That's utter BS. Scientific studies are actually now showing those who were vaccinated, boostered, etc., and nevertheless ended up suffering from COVID-19, are much more likely to be amongst those who develop lasting health issues.
Here we have Short Fatso Davis playing Robin Hood. Just like Minnis, he thinks he has the right to instruct his minions to rob Peter to pay Paul in an effort to reward those who have or may be persuaded suppport him.
