Sounds like he had Covid-19. To be frank, it's difficult to express sympathy on the passing of a coldblooded killer. His family wishes to be heard as the prison didn't address his needs. They are right. But, should society fight for the rights of someone who took lives? Should we fight to ensure that every need they have is addressed? Should we? It's cold tonsay, but our society is a shithile.because of crime.
Instead of recognizing this loss, we need to recognize the people he killed.
This is really sad. This officer has to be made an example of for the rest to get the message. Based on what's stated here, it appears that the officer was not arresting the gentleman and trying to confiscate the marijuana. It seems that the officer was simply taking it from him. So, essentially you have a criminal with a badge.
There's no justification to shoot someone for simple marijuana possession, even if you're acting in an official police capacity unless you're met with violence and you have. no other option. The Commissioner needs to step up and speak to these situations. The Commissioner has to show the country that he has control over his men. This is not the time to play "brotherhood". The police are paid by taxpayers and taxpayers deserve to get value for their money.
🤦♂️ I don't get the stupidity of this government. Why would you recommend a test that doesn't give results for ALL persons infected. If asymptomatic infections represent 40% of your infections, you need a test to identify these people.
We're sitting here watching the government chug along with a medical and economic disaster strategy. This is a time for a vote of no confidence in the PM, the firing of the Minister of Tourism and the Minister of Health. The mistakes made and the continued strategy shows recklessness and a total detachment from logic.
This is rough. The organizations doing this deserves a big "thank you" for their efforts. Everyone receiving assistance have to hang in there as best as they can. For those of us who can help our brothers and sisters, we need to jump in. It will take a community to get through this crisis.
It's tough for residents in those islands. But, it's a business decision. Why is Chester turning this into politics? A government shouldn't show up to a table to tell a company how to run their business. Chester is a businessman. It's ridiculous for him to bring this to the table.
Why is there an article on this garbage? Why should we focus on what he believes? If Rupert Roberts said that he is an atheist, are you going to stop buying grocery from Suoer Value?
What we need to focus on here is Mr. Johnson's gross incompetence. That's relevant for our country. Also, people are too focused on some of these religious leaders such as Mr. Ellis. You need to ask, what have they but specifically Mr. Ellis gas done to better this country? Shouting and screaming and carrying on, is good for a show, but how about doing about the work that you are supposed to do. A lot of churches operate in poor communities and don't give a shit about the people in those communities. Pastors complaining about people not being allowed to go to church because of revenue. So, they're prepared to risk your health in the name of the dollar.
Again, this article is just trash. Mr. Johnson belief is not something for public consumption. But, his performance in his chair as Financial Secretary is something we should focus on. He is showing the same gross incompetence that some of the Minnis cabinet is showing.
Dr. Sands is trying to take a major step politically. Putting that aside for a second, he's right to speak to what is happening and to give some suggestions.
This really isn't the time for flashing party colors. As one country, we need to sort this problem out. Brave is right that the government has failed. But, after you point that out, give some suggestions to fix the situation.
Testing, testing ,testing and more testing will be th e inky way out of this crisis. Lockdowns with increased resting is just further destroying the economy. Get it right PM!
Covid-19 finished them off. Hurricane Dorian was another disaster for them. This was a huge problem that nations much greater than ours would be challenged to address. However, there are failures that are unique to how this government handled and is still.handling this situation. The increase in VAT was not a bright idea. Don't think a poor man going to the store every day will forget he is taking less food home than he did before. There are other solutions to addressing our financial shortfalls than an increase to VAT. Keep in mind those with little, add little to.the economic pot. It.makes better sense to increase taxes on those that have more. No one wants to pay more taxes. But, for some of us it is better to give a little extra so the little guy can survive.
The PLP isn't the solution. But, neither is the FNM. The landscape has to change. We have no real leaders. Just hit air and arrogance masquerading as men.
So, we have Bishop Ellis putting on a show. He made some good points, but given the hypocrisy in this man, it's hard to pay too much attention to him. Instead of spending so.mich time.blasting the government,.how about he just quietly go about the community and do good. Isn't that what the church is supposed to do? Too.many church leaders want to win an Oscar for their performance instead of being true messengers of the faith. John the Baptist, we are told in the Bible, prepared the way for Christ. He ate locust and drank wild honey. He didn't have a throne in church with a European car in the church driveway with a home in a gated community. So, let's put the BS aside and be a true messenger of Christ.
