I don't understand some of the labeling. You have the label gay but that's attach to a guy, but a woman who is gay is a lesbian. Why the differentiation? Another thing, the labels keep going. Now, you have non-binary which apparently leads to the use of "they", "them", etc. At some point we will need an encyclopedia to keep track.

I won't debate nature vs. nurture. At some point, shiuod there be a psychological evaluation? If a bkack.man identifies himself as a white man, do we accept him or try to get him help. There is a concept of too far.

I think that there is a direct correlation between education and civilized ssocieties. If you look at out national average, you see we gave serious crime issues. If you look at the US, they have issues within their public education system and you see that manifested in crime stats. If you look at the Europeans who spent a lot on public education, they have much lower crime rates. So, like the commenter here said, you reap what you sow, that's truly correct. Improve education and you improve society.

If we solve the gun issue, we reduce the crime stats dramatically. It's difficult to catch smugglers but you can severely punish those in possession of guns.

But, as we see here all crimes are not committed with guns. So, we have to deal with issues within society. The church has to step up. The people I'm communities have to step up. The police usually only show up after something has already happened, which is too late. People will blame job losses, etc on violence. Job loss can lead to stress and stress can out you in a bad mood. But, violence isn't about stress. There are other issues here that translates into violence.

We've all seen the blond, blue eyed Christ. If her believe in Cristianity, we accept that Christ was a Jew. So, how does a Jewish guy two millenniums ago have blond hair and blue eyes.

The news we watch, particularly overseas, it's packaged to feed you. You're not given information and left to make an opinion. You're given an opinion.

We are fed lies in a lot of books we read. History is often filled with lies. It's important to challenge what you read sometimes. As children for example, we were taught that Cristopher Columbus discovered San Salvador and other Bahamian islands. In that history we are told he met the Indians (Arawaks) that were here. No one ever asked the question, well how did he discover a place where the Indians were already living in? Clearly they discovered it before he did. Also, there is evidence that Africans (don't know which countries) knew the route to the "New World" for more than a century before Columbus accidentally found his way in this direction.

We are taught the brilliance of the Greeks. But, we are not told that the great names in Greek history studied under the Egyptians (black people). Take Pythagoras for example. Pythagoras studied for 30 years (if I recall correct) in Egypt. Pythagoras is known for his theorem on right angles triangles. Here's the kicker for this, each great civilization contributed to the field of Mathematics. The Egyptians were known for triangles. So, Pythagoras took his Egyptian training and got credit for their ideas.

The utopian concept that we think can not be achieved was actually achieved by Africans. When we look at military prowess, we are not taught how the Zulus defeated repeatedly the mighty British army. The British had modern weapons for that time that they brought to fight the Zulus who fought with Spears. Yet, the Zulus won. Some of us may have heard of one of the great Zulu leaders, Chaka.

When we speak of religion, once again be careful what you read or are told. Think about Mormons believe blackness is a curse from God to one of the sons of Nkah for laughing at Noah. So, all black people are a curse. Christians believe that only those who follow Christ will go to heaven but those same Christians will say that the Jews are God's chosen people. If they refer to the sentence that only Christian's can go to heaven then the Jews don't get a pass. On a side note, the Jews today that live in Jerusalem that claim they have a right to the land they're on have no historical ties to that land. A lot of the mare from places like the Ukraine, etc. Everythingyou learn, you hear, you believe from time to time you have to exam if it is true.

Wow! A very informative article. Really good! There are a lot of positives about the medicinal values of marijuana. It's interesting that there's so much negativity surrounding the medicinal value of marijuana. Pharmaceutical companies want everyone to continue popping their products, no matter how destructive. They have to make their profits, whether you're harmed or helped.

The reason we have this issue was due to us opening the borders in July. This reopening allowed Bahamians to leave for trips and tourists to come in. The virus prior to this was contained and we had the situation dealt with. It was a poor decision that led us down this road.

Nowz there's no plan, no strategy. Just let it ride.

I think he intends to stay, but he is waiting for a play from somewhere. He knows that there are things going on in the party. When something happens, he wants to be around to get some spoils of the war. If things were great in the party, he would have left already as he would not have a chance to get a seat back at the table.
