This went live yesterday, but, people were not informed before the change. Makes sense. Why the sudden change?
If they have to move, isn't it possible to use the same number at another location? I've seen countless examples of this done. So, why isn't that possible here?
Will the public get a message when they call 919 informing them of these numbers? If we can create 311, 511, etc we couldn't create a much easier to remember 3 digit emergency number?
This country is just one big joke and the government is making the people a part of the punchline.
To develop your own rules, you need to have a good understanding of what you're doing. Our governments have shown incompetence for decades. Added to that corruption. So, very little meaningful things are done.
It's sad that we sit like children on these little rocks in the Atlantic waiting for our parents (large developed nations and major global organizations) to tell us what to do. When people who've never seen this country can give input you're probably not getting advice that moves you forward.
Sometimes the horse denies the truth. I'm just saying that the newspapers don't really engage in true journalism. It's most them recording what was said, no hard questions or investigate work. Basically fluff.
This is good. Entertaining and informative. On the D'Aguilar bnb it, let's keep him off CNN. He set us back to Harriet Tubman days before the underground railroad.
For all government ministries and corporations start looking at reducing staff. If you reduce the cost of staff across the public service we would have less issues. I'm just sick and tired if these useless people crying about the results of the their poor management.
Sounds like no one in management at Bahamasair nor the Minister knows anything about running an airline or business for that matter. Mr. D'Aguilar being a businessman should know something about business. It's like Super Value shutting down because of a lockdown and Mr. Robert's looking at salary but forgetting he has rent (if he doesn't own the buliding), electricity to keep his frozen goods from spoiling, etc.
Can everyone in Bahamasair along with the Minister just resign? Bahamasair is just a waste of taxpayer money in good times, judge now. Can the government just shut this down as it is only an expense that we can afford to keep paying?
Ouch! That's tough to swallow. Seems like a good reason. These guys have to stop this nonsense. It's kind of like the marketing guy from BTC becoming the Financial Secretary. Not sure how it works, but someone thought it was brilliant.
