When the item says 99 cents as the suggested retail price and Super Value charges $4.00 or more, this needs to be addressed. Not sure why he needed to comment on the elderly shopping. What we need from Mr. Robert's is fair pricing and fruits that are not rotten or close to rotten. During this pandemic, Super Value being the good corporate citizens that they are took the liberty to increase their prices on certain items. Mr. Robert's should assist the elderly and others in our community by not further driving them into potential starvation. You may not get Covid-19, but starvation can be deadly as well.

Does anyone know if Price Control still exist or are they like the other government agency, somewhere collecting a paycheck but not doing the work.

O...k. $1,500.00 for a death threat and $700.00 for selling coconut water during a lockdown because you need to buy groceries. Seems fair, right?

On $1.5k fine for threatening to kill his ex

Politics! Politics! A lot of countries are losing right now to Covid-19. I would agree the PM made some mistakes here. I'm not sure if Mr. Davis was in the role of PM we would be seeing anything different.
Mr. David should explain to the people what new ideas he has to diversify our economic. The PM and Mr. Davis lack both vision and the management skills to effectively run our country. Would we all agree the last great idea in this country was "Independence"? Interestingly enough even that idea is an issue as it appears to be contradictory to the fact that we are dependent.
Can someone, anyone with a vision please step forth and run this little country. We have 40+ representatives and not one solid idea among them. It would be good if our leaders took a queue from their global counterparts. Resign when you've become a problem for the nation.
The PLP and FNM have brought us not but "mismanagement and grief" (borrowing a phrase from a well known poem).

Ummm... question, will we have power throughout the summer? And why did they cut power off a few days after the storm.

It seems that the more we (the people) spend, the less we receive. We need transparency on what is going on ar BPL. I don't understand how we have a management company but we receive the same terrible result as before or even worse.

Some good ideas here. Interesting that the web shop idea is tossed in there. 🙂

We need leaders with vision for sure. Both sides of the aisle are clearly deficient. We have to start thinking 20, 30, 50 year strategies. However, we lack political maturity to have one guy start something and another continue as it is in the best interest of the country.

We believe that the leaders in the UBP and early PLP built what lies before is now. However, everyone after didn't seem to realize that the house only had a foundation and a few exterior walls. A lot of building is still left to be done. But, no one is building.

We can blame Covid-19 for our economic issues now. But, lack of diversification is why we're here. We're a dependent independent nation. We depend on the rest of world for income and for food. We're now hearing of challenges with our foreign reserves. This isn't rocket science. No plan translates to an automatic failure.

There are issues here that need to be fixed. We.live in chaos to some extent. However, I you made an interesting point about linear programming. They are actually quite a few of us who understand linear programming and a lot more mathematical concepts who are being discarded within this country because of small minded views. Some of us excelled with our respective universities only to return to have a non-Bahamian instruct us what we are worth. What is worse is that they're often with a lower aptitude, yet folks like you spew this nonsense of where we all sit in the intellectual food chain. While we are changing what's broken in this country, let's change the screwed mentalities. There are a lot of brilliant Bahamians out there who can compete with anyone else in the world. When you've written a few theorems or have figured a better equation to identify all the infinite Mersenne Primes, let us the Math folks know.
