You would not remember the size of cruise ships between the time of construction of the breakwater and the time of the breach. We did not have the mega ships at that time - and it was a weather condition that tumbled the breakwater. Admittedly things are very different now, I would like for us to do like Key West and ban the mega ships and put in place a size limit to the ships in port with the demitting of passengers to be held at a reasonably controlled level. We need quality visitors - not quantity.

The authority is out of his mind - alongside those administrators who are already using this ignorant excuse of a control method. Let those who break the protocols reap their rewards but closing down everything because of a few is just plain idiotic and irresponsible.
Everybody wants something for free without looking at the labour, production costs the restrictions involved and nobody really does the research to discover facts. Their argument all stems from assumption and conjecture without validity or substance.
Contain the hotspots, and centres of concentrated persons affected and quarantine them. They cannot be allowed to move and their means of transportation withheld. Should the centres be those of illegals - that must be looked at and contained as well. If Bahamian - slap them in a confined space through the defined timeline of safety. We cannot lose what might be the resurrection of our island because of irresponsibility of our people or the myopic disassociation of the government nor the hollerin' jump up and down crazy short term vision of the alarmist persons without a better vision. Ignore them educate them.
That's about it until a shedding of the 'God Appointed Me' syndrome is brought under control and within the realm of fact and reality. His God and mine are of different opinions.
Like they did for the monetary and material donations by so many to Abaco after Dorian - which disappeared into the wonderland account (Wonder where it went) who received the necessary material donations and where did they go - and who profited?
