I do agree that the Bahamas needs to get inline with other nations, the main thing that the Bahamas needs to get inline with is freedom of information and corruptions throughout the Bahamas. Give us agencies to oversea government spending and criminal acts done by high profile individuals who have to answer to no government. Is it fair to give citizenship to person who showed no dedication to the Bahamas and deny those who born, live support and played great contribution to the Bahamas? Is it fair that there are thousands of individuals who been residing in the Bahamas for decades and can't get a citizenship and has to pay thousand of dollars on work permit and what's not, those people who only know the Bahamas to be home and because they aren't Bahamains are being treated unequal? If we want get things right let's get everything right and not be so bias on any situation. We are far behind in technology and modernization, our education system isn't at a standard level and Bahamians aren't seeing the Bahamas to be home any more but yet we want get inline with all nations by focusing on a minor portion of the problems that's keeping us back and not focusing on the major issues that's keeping us back.

This is so brave and this is a step into the future of creating a better Bahamas and taking back what belongs to us, high respect to this young gentleman. All we need now is for many many more youth who has a vision to do the same, rid the Bahamas of a government party and have a house of assembly of independent candidates. We need more brave patriotic, loyal and determine Bahamains to take this stand and take back what every government has taken away from us the people.

Just when the PLP thought they had to worry about losing the election this brought them joy ans relief now they can take a long vacation and chill because they know that they have meat on their plates. Best option for LBT is to accept the responsibility of being a deputy leader best thing for the FNM is to suck up their pride and joy resign their seats and allow a new generation of leaders to be front line politics.

I guess the people are sitting Government in the house and making the rules, laws and regulations for the Bahamas. This plain and simple says to the people of the Bahamas we are on our own and left to defend the little that we have, this statement truly proves that the government was never for the people and putting the people first isn't no accumption of deception but proves the people fully correct. Sad edcuse for a supposed to be sitting Government who never holds themselves response for anything in the Bahamas that isnt pleasing to the people.

LBT should humble herself and respect her leader, it's one thing to push for a change and it's another to destabilize your party. One thing I respect about the PLP is no matter what their unity stands strong in the eyes of the people, we may not know how they slap and punch each other behind close doors but in the public eyes they hold onto each other back and keep a solid team together but the FNM MPs has shown themselves to be of great selfishness and arrogant just to gain power over the other, they have shown their leader total disrespect and even more discouraging to hear anything about the FNM LBT has the nerve to say Dr. Minnis played a roll in the fail referendum, how could she built the nerve to speak that out of her mouth when Minnis constituency was one of the few constituency to voted yes! Does she really believes that Minnis would had changed the mind of the people who from day one had their minds made up to reject anything this PLP government bring to the people. How can she accuse her leader and lambast him and not take responsibility in their negligence handling of the referendum using tax payers money to run a bias champagne and have the yes vote daily insulting anyone who oppose of those bills. Am hoping if Minnis do win this convention give himself some back bone stand like a man stop being friendly and make an example out of those MPs who wishes to be their own boss, at no time should anyone proudly disrespect their superior if you dont like how the boss is running things simple just leave and create a better party that you can lead. Let the people gain confident in You Minnis and do the Honorable thing to those disloyal MPs!

On Butler-Turner should return to the PLP
