how about asking that to the bank after borrowing money and signing a contract to repay your loan with interest!
if you borrow something its clearly not yours to keep and if you go ahead and make an agreement to repay what you borrow it is your very own duty to repay your depth its not the government concern or anyone else concern how you pay it the main thing is they went into a contractual agreement on a certain terms and condition and now they are being dishonest after receiving what they wanted and not repaying there is no excuse, just like any other citizen of the Bahamas when we have a loan and dont have a job we go out there find a job and pay own loans, cant go to btc, bec, Water and Sewerage and begged them no to disconnect because were unemployed. If you dont have a job simple get up like we normal people do and find a job and repay your loan.

What is so confusing is instead of being by his constituency office with his supporters waiting to hear the election results he decide to go in BAIC office which he wasn't supposed to have access to anymore because all seats and ministry posts were vacant at the time so why Mr. Smith was allowed access into Government building after hours? Why wasn't he at his constituency office amount his supporters like every other MP did or at their party head quarters, or even home why chose BAIC office of all other places? And they want cry about being victimized if your at a scene of a crime and your suspect of doing a crime it's the authorities job to conduct an investigation which they did and release all persons accused if they have a problem on how the investigation went file a lawsuit against the authorities let the court system deal with this matter.

Mr. Davis this is the work and job you and your fellow PLP members supposed to do but failed to do all what is happening here is the police force finally has the chance to do their jobs, employee weren't assualt or harassed, they simply was taking by cdu for questioning and release except Mr Smith and no way would any law officer Target a high profile person without cause. The PLP had and never done a damn thing to cut the cost of living for the Bahamas instead they overfilled the country with high taxes and more taxes and allowed businesses to over charge the people, look at VAT before the initial date for VAT most businesses increased their products by 7.5% and when VAT was official they still added an extra 7.5% at the register even given that these businesses are not being charge vat on bread basket items the then government allowed them to put the people in complete expense, look at BPL damn light could never stay on but we always seeing high electricity bills the list goes on and on the PLP government wasn't one bit for the people, no one know what the FNM has in plan or can do but anything than the plp they the worse Government in the history of the Bahamas.
