Interesting data here:

Persons who had received two doses of the #COVID19 vaccine had serum that poorly neutralized omicron. Those who had recovered from infection and then vaccinated, or who had been vaccinated and had breakthrough, had high levels of neutralizing activity.

In sum natural infection gives ‘the goods’ - vaccination not so much..to be fair this study didn’t look at boosters but there’s growing evidence that boosting with outdated vaccines from the original strain is going to have diminished returns of protection…. The Who has said as much…

Our kids getting infected might be a good thing, given the collateral damage on hospitalization is avoided…again it’s time to end the charade and return to life as normal for our kids more than anyone or anything else…

Agreed - testing way way up…antigen pricing way way down…there’s just a bigger net being cast..

What wave? There’s no death? Inconclusive hospitalization? What everyone can see is a desperate attempt to rehash scientifically redundant medical policies that have failed in every ‘wave’… on the subject of child’s risk to COVID theres nothing to talk about. Schools should be open now. Masks (n95 only) should be optional and recommended only for persons/kids with underlying conditions or obesity. That’s what data shows around the world..it’s over

At this point just get rid of the tests period. You catching with people that are bringing in a cold. Thats it. We are not dealing with a deadly virus (if we ever were). At some point it will hit tourism sector a huge percentage of the travelling public will have a 'cold'/covid while en route to The Bahamas. The risk of infection will be slight and consequence of infection will even slighter but does pose a threat to the health system or huge portion of the Bahamian public however the cost of cancellations and damage to the economy will...call covid what it is - a flu...all the other theatre around it is BS...its time...

The Spanish are already calling for it..

Negative vaccine efficacy is a thing…but driven by the vaccinated having slightly more freedoms than unvaccinated.

In Ontario Canada the vaccinated account for 76% of the hospitalized and 56% of those in the icu. But this is meaningless with out understanding if these hospitalization is with or from COVID…

Similarly here we have no clear understanding of the importance of vaccination in preventing hospitalization as we have no idea how many are truly in hospital because of COVID.

Thank you finally… someone gives a darn…let’s remember the kids were never at risk…
And if medical protocols worked the parents/grand would be too..but that doesn’t even matter because omicron ain’t all that..

Meanwhile there are only 6 people in the icu. Ministry of health still haven’t expressed how many of other hospitalizations are from or with COVID…nearly one third of all the countries cases occurred in the last 4 weeks but only 0.5% of the deaths…less the than 5% icu admissions…it’s done - stop - stop testing unless people have symptoms, underlying conditions or entering proximity of those at risk…alternatively ignore case counts…policy has gotta be ground in something else - kids in school now. And stop the rubbish restrictions… please
