Ha! If does it won't be because of anything we've done, but not likely - it's here to stay like the flu..

Facts are tough for you I see. You must be one of those panic porn junkies...

Guys give it up...we done here...3 people in icu in Nassau, cases a dribble...and it happened all without a lockdown in Nassau, with mask mandates that were useless, social distancing that was half followed...Will there be pockets of increase? Yes. But this is not emergency (aside from the economic this stupid panic has caused) - time to get back to your day job, leave the tents up in pmH though - they need extra space for all the delayed diagnostics, procedures these idiotic travel restrictions have caused.... Hindsight 2020 but if we deployed august strategy (Basically Sweden’s approach) in March, we could have been out this like we are by may....instead the lockdown has done untold damage Socially, economically and medically I only hope Minnis stands up and apologizes (haaaa!)

Can we please do the same thing with these stupid dollar-eyed foreign investors that come in, pretending they know what they are doing, get crazy concessions, start a bunch gigantic projects and run out of money...and never live up to the employment benefits they promise....So much of our country is scarred with these things...it's the same thing as Ponzi scheme just we Bahamians are footing the bill by the gov concessions, which if the government just got brave could finance so much of our failing national infrastructure....

$200-400 for is test is expensive for one but Why put up the cash for something has that has about 99.99% of not killing you. And if you don't have symptoms you have less than 2% chance of transmitting it to others. In the mean time add to that if you test positive you might loose two weeks of work as might your family members or anybody you have been in contact with (if you're lucky enough to have a job). Why on earth would people participate in something like this given the potential costs. Of course there is push back in testing...it's just not worth it, if you test positive given this is a low risk disease.

Look you can't carve out a space for tourism to operate. Tourist come to interact the Bahamas and Bahamians. This is just typical Nassau thinking which subjugates the rest of the country in their ignorance. Tourism depends on the immersion of the Tourist in the local economy (Just as much as the economy depends on the same thing) which will be flat out decimated with further lockdown or restrictions. People are fine to socially distance, sanitize, even wear a mask for all the good it does, but as soon as you say you infringe on their capacity to move freely in this nation then you've lost them, just as much you lose the the faith in the Bahamian people when impose the same thing (unless you are that idiot Hank Johnson). Anyway the numbers are out - Nassau has crushed the curve and all without a lockdown. Minnis it's over emergency averted, time to get back to democracy and a flush your medical dictatorship down the toilet...

And gosh isn't incredible that it went away just at infections x10 or 20-30% of populations as forecasted irrespective of Lockdown or effective mask use.

There no uptick in deaths in the USA it as done nothing but decrease with but with a tiny in July... Cases are useless to talk about.

Not how it works..testing is down because less people present with symptoms...they don t just go around jamming swans up people nose in the hope of finding cases. However in the states where you have over sensitive pcr tests and u need a test to go work or travel. Thats a way to find a bunch of Asympyomatic cases that aren’t infectious!and drum up a bunch of panic...

Johnson go enjoy lockdown lighthouse point if you want to... but don t drag the Eleuthera into myopic and limited understanding of epidemiology. It’s clear now lockdowns aren’t the answer - Nassau is now proof in pudding - you can reduce cases with the dreaded LD.. time for people to get back to work and feed they re families...
