Phhttt.... happened to me too. Happened to so many people I know - I'm hard pressed to think of a person I know that hasn't had some crime or violence be inflicted on them. I am sorry for their loss of personal items, and their loss of trust in fellow citizens, loss of their sense of security and loss of their faith in humanity. It's a crappy club to have to join.

We should carry tourists on tours just to have them see the filth and decay of the downtown? Or maybe have them get robbed at gunpoint somewhere? Why not take them to some of the illegal dumping sites for a nice Kodak moment. Man, I don't even go to festivals here for fear of crime or getting my car buss up. We need to clean up our act first on the simple basics of our tourism product.

An excellent exercise. One would do that in their own home regularly. This government needs to treat this financial crisis like a 2 income home with a mortgage and one of the wage earners just lost their job. Every penny counts.

I hate seeing this. I'm hoping they remember the feeling she's feeling in her wailing in agony. Hoping that by seeing how deeply devastating it is to lose a loved one to murder/gun violence people will stop the violence. Disgusting all of it.

The point is, this is an investment into the future of eliminating corrupt losses. Sure it costs us now but the saving of future embezzlement will more than cover this cost. Even conducting audits and investigations has to be giving the thieves a second thought. I hope...

Is this *really* the way a potential parliamentarian speaks? And a Queen's Council at that?? " *So we ga cuss him, and we ain’t ga cuss him no ching wong 42*"?? Using euphemisms for curses? If this is his campaign platform, he deserves to lose. Actually, someone call the Queen and ask her to revoke the QC - he doesn't deserve it let alone our votes.

Another goddamm place I can't go on this island for fear of being robbed. In broad daylight!! Huge social problems in this country. The breaking point is close at hand avidreader.

"The correctness of the register is not the sole responsibility of the parliamentary commissioner or his offices". You deplorable piece of crap. I heard him on the radio and I screamed while I drove. If a person registers, then it's up to the commissioner via his D-grade half assed trained team to get it right- not the person receiving the card from teeth sucking, nepotism favored, uncivil servants. The system like all other government systems are completely broken, corrupt, bankrupt and inefficient to the point of hilarity. Think NIB, RTD, landfill, VAT revenues, port authority scrambling to collect tax, Real Property tax, BEC, law enforcement, environment, education, NHI, Postal Services.... need I keep going? Scrap the whole place and start fresh. I am beginning to think that setting the place on fire is the best course of action. Collect the insurance money and look to a new day.
